When I touched my Luck Rune it was snowing. (WHen I logged back in from my initial post it was "Nothing out of the ordinary" and it wasn't snowing).

I had no elemental resistance except for ice from my auroura mantle.

I went back and talked to Emila in Mhaura on the same day (still fire day) and she gave me the "You forgot all your fortune already?" line. She then gave me the same information.

This has nothing to do with the strange apparati unless the rune gives you the password (unlikely).

Also I think the words of wisdom are not affiliated with the outcome (though i could be wrong).

(since i didn't post my wisdom quote it was the "best parties ending" one)

This doesn't have anythign to do with something that was released a year and a half ago, so we can rule that out.

But i found one of the directions.
North-NorthWest is at the SW to W corner at H-7 in Beaducine Glacier.
I have NNW and clicked on it, and it said "You sence that your lucky color may bring you good fortune." I have a stack of water crystals ready just in case because my color was blue.

Waiting for watersday.

Another update:

My direction is "West" and I tried the Passhow, bingo. So... West=Passhow, I will update the post to reflect this.

Thank you for the Glacier location. Adding that as well.

Now...
My room mate and I were at his luck rune in lufaise. Again, his color was purple. He tried clicking, doing things, nothing. I suggested he break party, he did. He also put on barthundra and an earthstaff. He checked by himself and got a lightning crystal.

After that, the rune said you find nothing out of the ordinary.

On a theory, he went back to mhaura, to Emila. We thought it might be escalating results, as she sent you to more places. She said the same thing. This idea is not ruled out, we will just have to wait and see.

I am trying a theory of my own in a moment, when my room mate arrives at my luck rune, I will update accordingly.

the rune in tahrongi is more wsw of mhura then nnw i would look more in the batallia area or possibly beuucedine

So, hm. Going in the direction requested, and modifying your elemental resistance, while not in a party can get you crystals.

Even when partnered with the person with the right title, nothing unsusual happens, though.

So maybe rather than describing a set of conditions, all of which must be met simultaneously (partner, location, element, etc) it's describing options.

Has anybody had their fortune with a partner told yet, at the 'bring me a partner and I'll tell you your adventuring fortune'?

Has anybody gone farming with their partner and complementary titles? Try crawlers or something.

Has anybody /checked and initiated a trade with their partner?

Beaducine is NNW, thats what it is showing for me, once i get something I will tell you all.

I just had my fortune read. My color was Green, yet my highest resistance is Dark.

I did notice that I received my fortune on Earthsday. Earth(yellow) is weak to wind(green). Can anyone else confirm this?







If I am reading this right, you received your fortune on Firesday - and received Pale Blue as your color. Fire(red) is strong to Ice(pale blue). So much for that theory!


Or is there something there? Can anyone else remember their color and the day they received their fortune?

Ok I did some work on this tonight and am Still completely confused. I found someone willing to do this but since I could not find out where "North" is I had him go get his Fortune told. He got Pale Blue, Far NW (Xarcabard one, forgot wording but match front page, will edit with exact wording) and Title "Mercy Errand Runner" So we both decided to do the quest for the title because we were unsure if we both needed title. Spent some times doing some quests than head to Xarcabard. We got there on Darksday but it was getting late so we decided to just try it than, rather than wait for Iceday. Well the first time he tried he got the same message as others who chose the correct one (Im sorry its late I dont remember the exact wording but something about lucky day) but got no item. Unfortunately neither of us had any ice resistance equipment so I went and bought him barblizzara, and got my Nobles Ribbon out of the Mog House (50 total Ice). He clicked it again and this time got 1 Ice crystal.

So far Ive discerned that you need some type of elemental resistance, also wondering if bar spells are counted or only equipment?

Anyone else try some tests yet?

is it possible that the things he tells you are all just about diffrent quest?

the element he tells you is the element resistince you have to have
the direction is the direction of the luckrune

your compatability is for that other fortune teller that tells your compatability with someone

and the last part is just a saying to live by

still doing the whole luckrune part for just crystals wouldnt be worth it. maybe if you pack on enough resistince you will get something diffrent or its just a chance of something good afterall it is called "[b]LUCK[b]rune"
