I'm sure. XD

Speaking of sexual preferences, you know what bothers me more than ANYTHING about this game? How overwhelmingly... FEMININE... beastmaster is. You would think that a hunter, capable of surviving on his own in the wilds where nobody else dares tread, would be the big rugged manly type, right?

Noble's Ribbon (head)
Flower Necklace (neck)
Melody Earrings (ears)
Opal/Hope/Pearl/Moon/Angel/etc Rings (fingers)
Purple Cape (back)
Corsette (waist)
Darksteel Codpiece (legs)
Dance Shoes (feet)

I feel like a really really bad drag queen. I get the whole "charming and alluring" thing, but that's going just a teensy bit overboard. I'm supposed to run around the forest stalking my prey in a codpiece, ballerina slippers, a purple cloak, a corsette, with a pretty ribbon tied in my hair and a garland of fresh flowers around my neck. So very butch.... >_<

You're a lumberjack and you're OOOOOOO KKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!

Sorry, just had to...

Excellent post!! Rate up.

LOL! You guys don't have to rate me up, I was kinda expecting rate-downs actually. After all, this is pretty much a Sabo rant.

Oh Sabo, you *****! If I had a rod, I could fish alongside you.... for compliments! Rate up, of course, but don't act like you don't know how good this post was. Smiley: wink

You're all ignoring Sabo's "other" description of DRK! I bawl everytime I play my WHM and see the DRK's HP plunge for no apparent reason. Sabo, I always look forward to your witty and well-informed posts.

4) My job is one of the most powerful and essential of any class. I make the enemy suffer, while making the melees attack faster and the mages have more MP to cast with. I support the party in ways other classes can only dream of. I'm the jack-of-all-trades, master of many. I am a red mage.

It's so me ^_^ When I first started partying as my RDM, I prided on making mobs fight like babies because of some odd 4-7 debuffs they have on them at any given time. And let's face it, RDM's are always seen by people as being stuckup to "some" degree, and I'm almost proud of that. I am happy in the (Subligar) when people comment on how I'm on the T with Refresh and can actually deal damage with an En-Dagger....er..ok, so I'm not quite happy as I described but...yeah.

I go places nobody else dares go, I see things you couldn't imagine. Fear has no place in my heart, only peace and solitude. I am a beastmaster.

Curse you Saboruto! Because of you, I wanna be a BST so I can go to Ifrit's Chauldron on my own! :P

But good point made. No matter how much we want to brag about our job, we can't say that the other jobs don't have something to be equally proud of themselves. I love how a DRG does great damage while splitting the hate between himself and his pet. I love how a BST can bring a 7th party member in the team. I love how a BLM can warp us out of danger, or sleep a monster's friend who came for an untimely visit. I love how a THF can pull SA and TA separately when the need arises.

There's been so much going about the "perfect way" of partying and playing each job, people tend to forget that optimal play is for optimal situations. A player's ability to adapt to any situation makes them far more valuable than what job they play.

Awesome post Sabo!
This just made me laugh at work:

Every teenage boy I know sees the wicked-looking DRK AF, sees the names of some of their abilities (Shadow of Death, Soul Eater, Guillotine, Last Resort), sees the scythe and the black magic and the kind of numbers a DRK can put out, and instantly goes all (|excitement|) in the (|subligar|).
LMAO, cute.
#68REDACTED, Posted: Nov 19 2004 at 3:22 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) sorry, but you've got to be stupid to say this about a summoner. First off, a SAM is better skillchain. Second, magic bursting like a dark knight is HARDLY a good thing lol. Third, smn doesn't heal like a whm, and doesn't have alot of the things whm does, until later levels like erase that make whm what it is.

That was a fantastic post Saboruto! You really laid out how all the jobs rely on eachother, and its something I think should be a sticky on this board.

Im a RDM right now, lvling my BLM sub, and working to 30 so I can get BST and take a bit of a chill from the game while still being able to get things done. (Used to have a lvl 30 character, got BST, and now have started fresh.) So obviously I loved your piece on BST!

As for the DRK one.... I totall understand what you meant by wetdream, damn funny to, but I think that that might only be our type of a wet dream! ^_^

As for the BST AF gear. I can't get over it.... It's so.... 0_^ I meen have you seen the helmet?! It's a bunny ears helmet! BUNNY EARS!

-_-

P.S. Warrior AF is HOT.

Nice to know there are people so sad in the world that they can turn a great post like this into exactly what it was ment to disrupt in the first place. Ah well I guess it happens. Great post Sabo and to shoshodrew this is probably the reason that soon your karma will not alow others to read the negitivity that you have seemed to bring to the boards lately.
