Roffle!!! I have to agree! That city is so stuck up in their self-importance. How many times did I have to endure their guards telling me to "move along foreigner"? Oy, way too often. Not only that, but the only place where they were friendly was... "Welcome to Bostaunieux Oubliettes!" Boy, were they glad to see me going down in the brig!
Not only that, I've spent about 20 seconds trying to get up the first step of the northern Holla Crag pad. I'm sure those San d'Orian WHMs are so jealous of us Tarutarus they dug up a bit of earth under those steps so we wouldn't be able to get our gate crystals! I say it's conspiracy!

As an elvaan and proud citizen of San d'Oria I have but one thing to say about Tarus: They are the cutest, most cuddly things I have ever seen!! I love tarus! :)
You forgot to mention how SE always does maintenance during Bastokan primetime while all the San d'Orians are all tucked away comfortably in their beds.
Don't forget the blatant rudeness to foreigners.

Those Elvaans have even gone so far as to put the doornobs too high for Taru to reach, in an evil attempt to keep us visiting windurstians trapped in our rent a rooms. Also making the desks too high so we cannot write a note for help and push it under the door.

Nobody mentioned the repeatable quests, either. San d'Oria has the most accepting NPCs I've seen in all three cities!
