Suggestion #1: Periods are your friend.
Suggestion #2: Save up the $50 yourself.

Tell her it will build your social skills, and also serve as a portal through which you can vent your aggression ^_^

Get your mom drunk, have her drive you to Best Buy, and tell her that they're giving away free Prada shoes with every FFXI purchase.

These forums do not condone drunk driving.

hmm... as someone else said, tell her that it'll "Build your social skills," and just for fun, also say that it will, "help you get an idea on how the business world works" because of the AH, and that, "it will enhance certain necessary life skills such as teamwork and leadership."

Yes, but it involves going back into time and constructing a giant mechanism to blow up the moon Luna.

Here are some suggestions:
A) Get it as an early birthday present
B) Get it as an early Christmas present
C) Sneak it into the carriage the next time you're out at Walmart
D) "Borrow" the credit card, and buy it online
E) Pimp out your nextdoor neighbor for cash
F) Let people punch you in the face for $2
G) Recycle soda cans and bottles for the deposit and save the $
H) Get a job like some of us
I) Sell some of your older games to Gamestop/EB for store credit

[insert quote here that I don't know what the hell it's from, and am only quoting from memory and then mangling as well]

See, that would work on the Earth because we have three dimensions.

But on the moon, they have five... THOUSAND!

[/mangled quote]

Mow lawns. :] Oh, and for kicks, type an essay about why you should get the game, it'll help your chances, and butter up parents before asking for the game.

The quotes from Aqua Teen Hunger Force... one of the Moonanites (sp?) said it.

Mn1: Something something about Frylocks 3rd Dimension
Frylock: What about it?!
Mn1: Oh nothing, its cute... On the moon, we have five...
Mn2: Thousand!
Mn1: Yes! Five Thousand!
Frylock: Well I only see two...
Mn1: Sounds like a personal problem...

Afterwards, however, you would have hordes of Mooninites chasing after you.

In response, you will have to travel back in time to stop yourself from going back in time. This will open a wormhole of confusion, sucking the angry Mooninites into a world of void.

Without a reason for existence, you turn into a copy of FF Online, and are picked up by your future self a week later.

It may be time-consuming, but it's /totally worth it/.

No wonder I don't know it. I no gots cable. :-)

I should look into getting as many episodes of Space Ghost Coast To Coast as possible, though. My HD isn't crowded enough yet. Smiley: king

As an alternative, you can try the pagan ritual thing.

You need three "eye of newt", one "onion", and a "lock" of "your" best "friend"'s hair.

Add to boiling water, while stirring every five minutes.

Let simmer for ten minutes.

Makes one copy of FFXI
