Well, for what it is worth, apologies for derailing this topic somewhat. I wasn't going to comment on what I was seeing until I saw he was near-filtered in one post. Then I started getting worried.

Anyway, back to the actual topic. Eh? Ehh? :D

It has been reported in New York City that many people have been rushed to the hospital due to dozen of dangerous wasp and hornet stings. The reason for these attacks? Young teenagers trying to attack beehives and rip them apart, then running away with parts of the inner honeycomb chips.

Those who have gotten away safely and without too much injury have been found on the streets, trying to pawn their chunks of beehives for at least $30.

Sorry, I was the second person to rate it.

I have posted a warning to those who would rate further.

And to aceofwilds, welcome aboard. Sorry we got off on such weird footing.

#1 I find it pretty messed up if higher posters try to keep new posters ratings' down so they don't become higher posters like themselves...this is my understanding of what just went on. If I'm incorrect Lady, please accept my apologies.

#2 I really don't care what my rating is on a video game message board...so if you want to rate me up, down, or sideways go right ahead. But I ask that you rate the actual post if you're going to...not just flame me so I don't become established in the forum.

REGARDLESS...I don't want to discuss these politics anymore. This thread is a fun joke thread to share a laugh or two. That is all.

I'll shut up after this post.

We did this simply because this board has shown that it's full of people who love to complain about ratings, and we didn't want to see it take over the first page for the hundredth time.

You'll find that most of us with higher ratings have become dis-enchanted with the title and rating system and could care less about our ratings, (myself included).

But many of us have also avoided the FFXI Main Board because it fills up with this kind of crap when we stick around too long. You'll find that most of us only stop in to answer a few questions, and then leave for other portions of the site these days.

Honestly, I could care less what your rating is, as long as you enjoy your time here, but I do care what the state of the forum is.

My motto is have fun.

EDIT: Spelling.

Well said AceOfWilds. I'm going to rate you up on every post you ever make from now on (just kidding Lady).

Onlookers were baffled as several people wearing green question marks on their heads stood outside a local hotspot last night. Said one man "We're trying to get into club, but no seems to want to party with a Dark Knight." Indeed.

Honestly, I thought this thread was funny as hell.

I hate rating down good material.

This just in! Neurotic Tech support worker in Houston Texas throws his computer out a window at work. When approached about the incident he only had such comments as "Damn the campers are ruining my life" and "When I was your age I had to eat rocks made out of rocks to be a scholar"... The man has been voluntarily institutionalized.

LOL, that's a mix of what I'm talking about, and the kind of people I talk to on the phone at work.

Then don't. Lady, all you've done is successfully derail this thread. New thread rule: only those with a CNN Report may post. (I'm in no position to make rules, but lets get back to the comedy people!)

Airport security officials were overwhelmed when a flight was cancelled and everyone in the terminal started yelling "Teleport New York! Do you have it?"

Man with sword runs up behind a pigeon and screams "PROVOKING PIGEON COME GET ME SUCKER!", proceeding to attack the pigeon with a stick.

Said pigeon subsequently flies away in terror. Witnesses claim the man put away the stick, and proceeded to scream "PROVOKE READY IN 20 SECONDS"...20 seconds later: "PROVOKE READY IN 10"...10 seconds later: "PROVOKE READY!".

Then why did you do it? Just to be spiteful? I don't know what gave you the idea that being a "sage" makes it your right and duty to moderate the ratings of other people, but someone ought to drag you back down to earth.

I posted my response to this on my Manhatten's thread.

Troll me all you want. I'm not hard to find, since 85% of my posts can be found on 2 threads.

Unlike you, I'm above "trolling" people for harassment. I'm more than happy to keep my comments in the other thread. But don't try to act like you've actually been contributing anything to this thread.

My fiance suggested this one to me:

A woman today called police when she looked out the window and saw a man begging to her son. Apparently the man had attacked a beehive in the family's yard, and after being stung multiple times, ran over to the boy and dropped to his knees, pleading "You're a Taru, I know you've got Cure! Heal me please!"
