OT: Allakhazam, Drop urprize2.com's Invasive AdsFollow

Yes, this is off topic.

This floating ad window you can't close from urprize2.com is incredibly annoying and has to go. I'll pay for membership for a year if you drop them immediately! Ad support is fine, but when a window prevents me from using a site for its main functions (reading and posting on the forum) it has to go.

Is that the name of that annoying little window?

The best way to get rid of it (I've found) is to click on it (unfortunately) then close it when it spawns.

This is probably better to be posted on "Forum System Feedback". I'll link it up for you.

Here it is:

ack! yes! I thought it was my computer actually. I ran Ad-Aware and was still getting the stupid ads. Glad it's not my system that's messed up.

Cox Cable gives users a free download called Checkit 86, does a pretty good job of blocking most the pop ups. never had one on this site, and it is a commercially available product.

As for Allahkhazam running the adds...bandwidth costs money, don't fault them for paying the bills.
