How do I add a 2nd Character?Follow

Do I goto the screen for FFXI and pick at the bottom of the menu Content ID?
After that I picked create context ID and it asked me again for my FFXI code.
I entered it and the character creation worked.
Is this correct?
I ask because today is the 29th and I was charged $0.38.
I thought a 2nd character for one month was $1?
Did I make the second character right?

The billing cycle is on the first of the month, so if you start after that date, your month is prorated. So yes, it's possible to pay $0.38, or less than $1.00, for that matter.
