Problems Patching.Follow

I havent played in like a week and a half and i went to log in. During the patch it checks the files fine, but then when it brings up the screen with the 2 bars, after a few files it gives me a connection error (Pol 1161 - the server is either busy or conjested, or your internet connection is ...). After talking to them they tried to tell me it was the ports, but I had already opened the right ports on my firewall. Then they tell me its packet loss, which isnt possible considering no other game gives me this, and it starts the download connection fine. I've looked on a few message boards but everyone else having my problem is just told to forward ports. GM's dont know what to say, i was hoping maybe someone else here was experienceing this problem. For what it's worth...

I had lots of problems with the initial patch when I installed the game until I disabled my screensaver. Anything that took focus away from PlayOnline during the patch caused it to fail. Disabling screensaver and just letting it go seemed to fix it for me.
