Character Name Help!Follow

#1 Jan 27 2004 at 8:45 PM Rating: Decent
Hey, I am making a monk and I would like some help in getting some character name ideas. I would like something that sounds "appealing". I have a few ideas, although they are mostly taken. --Sensei, Veris, Cyrus, Lucifer, Bruce(lee =D ). anything that sounds good like those would be much appreciated. thanks in advance

For the love of god, don't use a name that is popular, please. Make up your own name, one you can use everywhere. Combine two names if you must (Again, dont do something like SSJSEPHICLOUD, please)

For example: Cyresai (Yes, it's a poor example) A mix between Cyrus and Sensei. It's actually not that bad if you pronounce it Cy-riss-eh.

My name comes from Odessa (Suikoden) and Jayde (My head) pronunced Jah-dessa. I also use Tarja (Nightwish lead singer), prounced Tar-jah (That's actually not the real pronounciation).

My point is, make something up or use a name that isn't very common. Not many people know Tarja is the lead singer of Nightwish, not many people even know nightwish exists.

what is your race?

What kind of name are you going for? a noble name? a fun name? a name that stands out? historic name?

i believe answering questions like these can help lead you to a name.

I am not sure if this is your first char, or an alt, but you might not want a "monk" sounding name as you may want to change jobs later.
