Seeing as were down for a, "Lookout Emergence" Maintenance I thought I would start up a thread for everyone to ***** in =D I only have one thing to ***** about but lets hear a list of stuff that we all love to hate about FFXI. This Game Rocks and there’s no way I'm going to leave it but there are some things that could be improved on ;-)
My Complaint: Wyvern's Suck! Really its like being in a two person party which is awesome, it misses less then I do, but they suck! I can’t ride a chocobo unless I'm willing to use my 2hour to get him back after the rides over (he can’t help me on back and forth missions) and poison almost always kills him. When he dies, I have to use my 2hour and if he dies again right after, he's gone for 2 hours. So with out a Wyvern what makes a Dragoon better then a War with a Pollarm? Some times I can make it 2 hours with out dieing but most of time, I'm going to die at least once. They need to improve the interaction between Dragoon and wyvern I have no control over it and its not there most of the time.
Please feel free to add in your complaints, who knows maybe a GM might see them and take note. ;o)

Have you ever thought of how many ninjas there would be if they were as powerful as they were in tactics? OMG they owned all over that game there was no stopping a group with 2 or more nin's in it in tactics... all my friend would say is how Calc's are the strongest nope not if you ask me you get a nin with 2 knight swords and UBER PWNAGE GOSU even...

What I'm tired of as a WHM, is WARRIORS tryin to tell me how to do my job!!! Especially when they have NO sub-job!!!
But yeah, I'm going for Dragoon with a Whitemage sub. 10lvls away!!!! :) I would like more interaction, I cant even heal the lil guy. :(

As you get to higher levels the wyvern is easier to keep alive, it also depends a lot on the enemies you're fighting. While I was fighting mandragoras at khazam my wyvern never died, in the pt it rarely does enough damage to get hate so it was fine. But as soon as we started fighting the gobby's I just stopped even trying to keep it alive. The AoE bombs are wyvern's worst enemies. Also, a good strategy for keeping your wyvern around is to make sure you have him summoned when you log out for the night, you'll log in the next day with your wyvern still there and your two hour charged and ready to call another.

LOL, I can heal just fine! :) My sub is a warrior! *GASP* But yeah know what, I can do a Divine Seal + Curaga and have no problem takin a few hits before they get it back off me. Hell I've only died from Benediction once, when I first got it. :) You'd be surprised at how many people question my 20whm / 10war. But how little they actually complain about my performance while I'm in battle.
Well so far i've never had any problems whatsoever from WHM's. Even still I'm not a mage and i have no idea how to be one so i don't question their actions lest i be the one chosen not to be healed. I like to keep my "health care providers" happy!
