My laptop was stolen yesterday, and with it my playonline ID/password...

I've contacted POL, just wondering if anyone has had any similar incidents and how POL has reacted? I've submitted PART of my cc#, character and account details..

hopefully i'll be back online.. i'm just worried cause it says in the manual that they WON'T give out replacement ID's and i've spent countless hour leveling my char... :(

Here is a plain and simple fact of life.. POL is a rip off company...Remember back to the days of FFIX?
Well them and Brady Games made a guide together that required you have access to the internet to use a console games guide.
Now if you go there to use the information the guide doesn't offer you'll find yourself sitting down with an even more worthless PoS guide. This screams RIPOFF to me...but this is what you will have to do..and i sure hope you have you book that came with the game...call them...and if you are lucky they will have someone who speaks english answer the phone.

I never had a problem with Squaresoft before, but ever since Final Fantasy has started messing around with the Internet and in turn I have had to deal with their Internet side of things, I have become rather upset with them. I can't wait till they make the next real Final Fantasy ( FFX and FFX-2 should have been all in the same package ), FFXI is not Final Fantasy - At first I was stoked about it, than I read and even seen high lvl Summoners in play and noticed something...the summons were way underpowered..I swear a summons was capable of doing more damage than a party could do in FF, but in this game summons if you are lucky can do some sort of dmg...

But Seriously Dude, Call them..Talk to a representitive...You are paying them to play..which in my books means they are working for YOU!

On the Summoner thing, just think about it:

How fricking fair would it be for one character to do as much damage as a group?

Good luck getting your stuff back, this company does seem abit shady. But surely they aren't that shady, if you can provide all of the original contact info.
