I've dabbled a little bit in each guild but never really sat down to work on one seriously. I have a few questions before I actually try to invest in one particular guild.

*Which guild are the best money maker in the long run?
*Which guilds require sinking a fair amount of money in them for supplies, etc.?
*Are there any guilds that are particularly easy or hard to start off in?
*For a white mage, is there any guild that has things that would be particularly beneficial for my job?

I've looked at the guild charts and pretty much all of them look yummy fun to me, so I'm looking for info/tips to help me narrow down my selections.

I love the bonecrafters guild in windurst! its very easy to obstain wind crystals in windurst and the stuff you make in bonecrafting is simple and for begginers all the stuff you need is in the shop IN the guild (except crystals of course). I found bonecrafting ALOT of fun! not like damn clothcraft... it cost me over 1k to make a cape! a SIMPLE cape! and it only sells to stores for less than 100 gil and is very low in defence AND you cant even see yourself wearing it! pfft! i say go for bonecrafting :)

Goldsmithing. Hands down the biggest income in the end. Weaving and Smithing take a semi-close second.

If you're smart about it, you can get to 10+ in any guild with little cost, sometimes now if you are willing for a little farming. Fishing I'd wager is the most costly, as without a good rod, lure, and gear, you're wasting your time. Alchemy isn't too cheap all together, btw.

Easy: Cooking, Weaving (if you're in Windurst), bonecrafting.
Mild: Smithing, Goldsmithing, Woodworking (all three require you to spend outside time to gather goods to be worthwhile)
Hard: Fishing (you NEED gear), Alchemy

Cooking. Make yourself juices for MP Regen (Refresh effect) or Roast Mushrooms for improved Cure magic and MP Medding.
