Are there any FFXI sites out there that has some sort of item price database? I remmeber they have a lot for Everquest which you can search for the item and see approx how much it worth on a specific server. Do we have that for FFXI? I normally use two PC at home connect via a KVM switch. One for FFXI and the other one mainly use for searching FFXI info and IM. The price database will be very helpful.

I doubt there is one... thats because the prices fluctuate on demand in AH and prices in shops will differ on fame.
For ex. Fire crystals in stack sell for 3 or 4k on some servers and on mine, they only sell for 900 gil and sometimes 1k.
I think that there is a way to make such a list, but then there will be something like "will differ between..." sorts of sentences...

I think the most usefullness we would see out of this would be for large price items that fluctuate little. Like "Blaze Spikes" and other hard to get spells. Even then it's usefullness would be limited to giving people a vague idea as to what they're gonna be looking at for cash needs in a few levels . . so they can work on gaining Gill as well as XP.

Prices for everything in npc shops are based on your fame remember that...higher fame = cheaper items.. so that doesn't exactly work becuase no-ones fame is the same, and also prices change based on what city you originated from as well. just something to consider.
