I was wondering if it was possible to log into PlayOnline and FFXI twice with the same account. I ask as I wonder if I can have two computers going with two characters but linked to the same POL account (meaning I only have to pay an extra buck to have another char going simultaneously rather than buying the game again and paying another subscription).
Just curious.

No. You would need a 2nd account to play two characters at the same time. You can have many characters per account, but only play one character at a time for any given account.
