Gil for WHMFollow

I'm not a WHM nor do I ever plan to be, so this isn't comething I can take advantage of, but it's something I saw and thought to pass on.

Ever notice that there's usually someone, somewhere shouting that they need a teleport-<wherever>? On Ragnarok I've noticed a pair of WHM setting up a teleport service in Jueno. For 300 gil (200 gil less than in Jueno) they would teleport players to any crag that they qualified to be teleported to.

In the short time I was in jueno do do the BST quest, one of the "Taxis" moved no less than 20 players. That's 6k in a few minutes, no danger of death and it saved the customers money for an overpriced chocobo rental and cut a chunk out of travel time.

I've seen it attepted before at much higher prices, but I think the teleporting at that big of a discount was/is a good idea. (Even if you then rented a chocobo at the crag, you're still saving money/time).

-Of course, to do this you'll need to be high enough level to have the teleport spells, and sub BLM to be able to warp back to station

[And it won't get you hated like charging for raises and cures o_O ]

I've tried it and Pikko's Teleport Express had to go out of business. That person was probably just having a really good night. I usually make more when people come to me first and offer anywhere from 400-1000 gil for a TP. My standard asking is 400, 300 with my tarutaru discount. ^^

And since it's not always guaranteed that you'll find people that need TPing, I've had to find other ways to make money. In 5 levels I'll need 170k to buy Raise II. T_T

To make a long story short, I was lvl 29WAR with 5 others, one of them was a smn/whm, very experienced player he took us to a fantastic leveling spot in a desert I cant remember the name of. it went quite well until we went to a crystal, on the way there we sat our home point there (stupid idea).
Later one of us had to log then we went to a little town in the middle of the desert then our SMN friend had to log. Now we were stranded in the middle of the desert, no one of us knew the way back so we had just to sit there and ask every WHM who passed by, nearly everyone was 50+ but most of them was japanese and didnt have time to TP us back to safety.
We was desperate so we paid a WHM 5000 gil to get home.

Ok, that was alot of text just to say that we paid 5000 gil for a teleport =P

Gosh.. sorry the teleport service didn't work out for you. Maybe more people on Ragnarok prefer teleports ^^; I know what it's like to try coming up with large amounts of money.. I sorta have 10 spells I need to buy to be current with level. My Lvl 30 BLM hasn't bought (afforded to buy) anything since level 23.
