A Mithra in my LS was thrown in 'Jail' for the name Fookmei. I didn't find that terribly offensive, but I guess enough other people did. He said he got some cool screenshots of the jail, though, while the GM's were making him change his name. Can't wait to see em.

If you have a problem with the name of my IMAGINARY character take it up with my 5 year old daughter.It's a game,what constitutes a "bad" name? That you dont like it? Try this number "In my opinion" because I think that husband and wife teams with only one letter difference in their names is a waste.Get original.Just kidding,I really don't care what you are called just that you are a good and helpful player.
Uh...I never said anything bad about the duo of Itsy and Bitsy. I actually find it amusing, half the people in the thread are posting names they find more amusing than "bad" and generally the ones they consider "bad" are the names that are probably aimed to be immature and offensive.

I personally don't care about your name. My friends and i just run around and if we see a terrible name we will rip them apart on our own. there is no need to actually get mad or upset. Just bash them and you will feel a lot better. My personal fav. has to be Balsak. Very clever actually.
I once saw a party of 3 that had people named "Cloud", "Tifa", and "Vincent". Must be one of the first people to ever get the game..(were around levels 50 or 60)

My friends and I always talk about funny/stupid names we see. Sharing the distaste of having to see a charcter with a really annoying name with your friends is a good way to make light of it and help to keep it from distracting you from a good game. My friend put it best when he said, "This is a fantasy game, not a chat room.". :P
The funniest names I have seen by far, "Jewbacca" (my fav), and a tarutaru named "garycolman" was kinda funny too. Names that make me groan: "corndog", "nosebleed" (kind of funny), anything that sounds like sephiroth, squall, cloud, titus, goku, gohan, cell, vegita, all of which are made more annoying by the fact that the person had to go out of their way to make it resemble the name as closely as possible without being the actual name, because it is either banned, or someone else has taken it. :P I re-itterate, this is a fantasy game, not a chat room. ;)

I forgot to mention "smokymcpot", that's on my groan list. :P And I have partied with Enormousfoliage, I kinda like the name. It fits with american indian style names of some galka. He is a cool guy.

Luckily I haven't seen too many bad names on Cerebrus server. The only amusing one that comes to mind was Trogdor. (named for the online cartoon Strongbad, a dragon named Trogdor the Burninator, also mentioned in the series finally of Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
