Sorry .. I didn't realize the filter here was that good. It certainly isn't that good in FFXI (since I was obviously able to see the name in game). I try to refrain from swearing or using nasty words for the most part but I should 'complete the thought', so, the name I was trying to say in my last post was: UnprotectedD I C K.
Well, last night outside windurst I got to wach someone named Uterus fighting a Yagudo. Kind of funny.

Wandering around Ifrit are IX X XII XIII. They're all Tarus, and I'm willing to be there's more of them. Friggin' wierd.

Oh, I forgot about fckstk. I almost called a GM, but I figured, hey, this person's not bothering me. Let people do what they want, I suppose. Now I think it's kinda funny.

Thinking back to the olden days of playing GSIII...(Anyone remember that?..I miss my MUD)
They had a check in their character manager that didn't allow for any proper names or dictionary words. It also made you create a name that could actually be pronounced.
SE really should add some sort of requirement like this.
I actually tend to stay away from inviting people with really odd names to my party. It gets a little difficult when you try to send a tell to "aersrlkfjhs"

ah, I've also seen some japanese with some celebrity names...the one that sticks out is
Allymcbeal.

My theory on Japanese on their names is that they have english Dictionaries at home .. they randomly pick a page and a word and make it their name... seen a pair named Canada and Russia
