Howardstern.. hes made two very racially powered posts that have no place in this forum or any website.

I've a question for our administrative guru types, and if this isn't the right place to ask it, please point me in that direction. There seems to be someone on the Sylph server forum who is rating literally EVERYONE, on EVERY THREAD down, and it's just a little ridiculous and an insane abuse of the karma system.

Okay, I just opened the forum, and it isn't every person on every single post... but it's pretty close. I've seen people rated down on both random posts - just talking - and on very helpful posts in the last couple of weeks. I mean, my rating isn't going to shift much no matter what, because I post like crazy, so I'm not worried... but there are some people on the Sylph forum who really go out of their way to help people who are being rated down like crazy. ><

Anyway... thanks for giving me a spot to vent, if nothing else.

I really didn't want to bother you with this because I know you admins are having your hands full already. But this is getting just a bit too much...
Some mysterious individuals have been karma-camping many people lately, including me. I noticed in many threads that my posts were rated down almost immediately after I posted. Also in some of those threads, many other people also got rated down for no reason.
Although some threads like this one => http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=10&mid=1099711746273186947 (talking about why selling accound is bad) talk about a controversial issue so it attract blind rate-downs, but from my point of view, people here discussed peacefully and it's not a flame-war, so I don't think there's a reason for someone to mass rate down people in it.

Some of the threads contains no controversial issue, yet a mass-rate down also hit. Like this one http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=10&mid=1099663188280685744 (talking about real life crawlers) Most of the people who got karma bombed are sages (and somehow the bomb hit me hard also)

This thread which was simply a question and many answers about karma system, http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=10&mid=1099678741273137326 got me and some other helpful posts down from like above 4.00 (by a thank-you-rate-up from OP) down to almost flat 3.00 (by mysterious rate)

I read that admins have the record on who rated posts up or down, could it be possible to bust the karma-abusers who mass-ratedown people and give them a warning or something? Since they rated people according to the biased hatred, not by the content of the post, it is a silly abuse of the excellent system.

It kind of annoys me to see myself and other people getting blind rate-downs just because we post a non-offensive question or answer.
