...just curious when bookmarks will working. I have a few friends in my LS that read these forums. And it would make it easier for me to show them something if I have it book marked when they look at my Allakhazam profile. Thanks for yer time...

I'm not sure, that would be something to ask Illia over in the forum system and feedback forum. For now, if you want to put a link in your profile, put it in your character biography section

Alternativly you could make a thread in your character journal to just hold all your links

And bookmarks are in progress, but ptobably on hold until the three new servers get here. There's too many of you FFXI-ers now for the existing server to handle, which means the upgrades are on hold until then. Rumor has it last patch day the server actually caught fire and shot across the room due to excess load...

Dont know if its been answered in the thread already, my eyes are sore at the moment.... but I cant seem to find out how to rate posts. Currently my karma rating is 3.01(hope it does not go down after this) so that entitles me to rate posts right? I just can not seem to find the button(?) that allows me to do this. Well thanks for the help if you can provide it, and it not thats ok too ^^.

Goats are a premium only feature unfortunatly.
As a premium member how do I add an avatar ? I went to user account and saw 6 slots there under avatar but it wont allow me to do anything.

To add an avatar, first get an 80 pixle by 80 pixle gif or jpeg image to use. It can be smaller, but not bigger (mine is exactly 80 x 80 if you need a guide.
Once you have your image, go to your account options here, using the side menu (your account), or the options button in the upper right hand side of most forum pages.
Once there, click on the "your files" section. using the tool there, click browse, find your image, then upload it.
Once it is uploaded, go back to the main options page. you should see a drop down menu with your image file name. Pick it, then you are all set.

(I replaced the password w/ ####, the email gave me an actual code.) This email had an attachment Moreinfo.zip When I sent to save it to my "beer can" HDD I got my anti-virus' message saying said file was a worm.
Any thoughts on this? Any way of knowing who sent it? Anti-virus message said it was "The Win32/Bagle.ZIP.Worm virus was detected in...Action: Purge"

there are alot of viruses floating around out there that will take the e-mail addresses from this site and use it to send out a virus. You can find out where it came from by checking the IP address, but it is likely not someone sending it to you on purpose.
Just remember, the Allakhazam admins and moderators (or myself for that matter) will pretty much never send you an attachment from an @allakhazam.com address. In the rare exceptions, you would be notified ahead of time to expect something. In all my years here that has only happened once to me, so it is a very rare thing.

About journals...
I'm guessing that the "nuke (-50)" is to get rid of a post (even your own?) within yer journal. If it is a post of my own, and I want to remove it from my journal, would my over all rating decrease?
