Most likely replaced with the "Who's quitting?" sticky.

I'm a little sad to see this is taken off as a sticky. My problem still isn't resolved. But when SE has the final word on everything, and all you can do is badger them until they begrudgingly give in, I guess there was little much else this thread could do to help.

They probably told Zam to get rid of the sticky or loose their premier site status.

Adjust the resolution of menus.
The main screen resolution for "FINAL FANTASY XI" is dependent on the "Overlay Graphics Resolution" setting.
If the Overlay Graphics Resolution is set higher than the Menu Resolution, menus will be automatically resized.

I thought of it first:

I didn't really go into detail, I was chatting with a few employees and game demoers at SquareEnix's booth this year, and he said if they banned you for RMT then YOU must've been rmting and they have definitive proof. I'm like... OK well you banned me for RMT, i didn't sell gil, hell ALL my gil was on one char that I had been stashing with my dynamis currency hoping to finish my dynamis horn. We all have multiple accounts in which we level legitly in parties, participate in events and we fill with junk that never moves in the 5 years we've been playing...

His response I have no comment then.

WHY THANX!

Spoken with the ICO just now.

They have began the investigation, and do find SE have breached the Data Protection Act to an extent. It's still ongoing though, as there are a lot of technical things to go through.

Either way, sh*t is likely to hit the fan.

**** is not likely to hit the fan, unless you passed your issue off as something other than "They won't let me play their game, and won't give me any reason'. My understanding of the DPA, from the very little bit I read months ago, is that they're there to help you prevent the unlawful dissemination of your personal info, which may result in something like identity theft. All info SE has on you was freely given by you when you subscribed to their service. Anything involving why you were banned is not "you" specific, it's based on account activity.

It's been 3 months since the quoted post. Where's the ****? Seriously, guy, you need to just move on with your life. It really is just a game. If you miss your friends, there's a multitude of ways to keep in touch with them, including, but not exclusive to, Skype, MSN, AOL IM.

Yes, I have no issues saying this because I still get to play. If I were banned tomorrow, I'd not ***** about it for 9 months and Q.Q to my government.

So what ever happened with that?

Apologies for bumping this back up.

Had a letter from the ICO today, as SE have opted to ignore all correspondance from them. This is looking like it will be going down a more formal enforcement route now.
