Ranger agasint grey, green, light blue, dark blue mobs headshot procs nice and works often. Their definition of a humanoid leaves a lot to be desired.

Paladin slay undead disappointed does not proc or work as effective as I thought it would. I remember when level cap was 70 I would see 20 -25 k damage now if I do
5-10 k lucky. I would think higher level the more it would be especially in the old world content. Using a jumping axt at level 86.

Have not played Rogue or Berserker so cannot speak on their procs or damage output. I can say one thing I have seen Rogues assassinate mobs faster than I can kill them, so their stuff must still work.

Welcome to the ever evolving ever changing world of everquest: most of been good changes trough the years but I agree some things are better off left alone. I play a pally but mine is level 92 with fear touched gear and level 92 weapons and aa I average around 54k proce against undead believe me it does go up.

It's a bit harder to see the slays, but they definitely scale with damage and level. I've seen over 100k slays before, but that kinda depends on weapon (and luck). One of my guildmates regularly comments on how much faster undead stuff dies when my paladin is in the group, so it is noticeable. When I was still killing blackwaters in HoS, it was very very noticeable. Sometimes, mobs would just disintegrate in like two seconds. It is random though, sometimes you'll sit there swinging at one mob wondering when it's going to die.

I suspect it's just not as easy to spot as you level up (I know this for a fact actually). When you add in all the double/triple hits and flurries and whatnot, damage messages scroll by so fast that it's hard to see the slays. You also have to realize that some of the damage increasing AAs (critical damage?), is not factored in when calculating slay damage. So what's happening is that your normal damage is higher relative to slay damage (this is not necessarily a bad thing though). So, ironically, sometimes a high damage regular crit can be higher than a low slay. Doesn't happen often, but it does happen.
