The New Tanaan Merchant's Alliance quest question :: World of Warcraft

I just got this quest (so I obviously have 300 skill in each tradeskill). What's confusing is, there are seven items to make, and the quest text shows the name of the seven recipe books. I found all seven books, and can read them, but only two (the smithing and tailoring books) have a "scribe" button when I read them, and have been added to my recipes. The other five books can be read, but not scribed and added to my personal recipe list. Is this a known issue, or am I bugged somehow?

I don't remember that being a problem. Have you tried to just do the combines?

Yep, I did all the combines, and finished the quest yesterday. It's just that I figured any book they put in recently could be scribed, and save me from have to drag all the items and experiment. It's been true for all of the recipe books I've bought recently, except these 5. And doubly strange, that these five were added at the same time as the other two which did scribe. So either they were being cute when they designed the books, or two different people designed them, and this guy forgot :)
