Hey everyone!
This may seem silly or redundant, but I'd like to camp out my SK at lvl 75 and just grind out some aa's. Whats the best gear to look into getting for him for a while? Is SoD gear the best at that level? Any input would be awesome :)

At 75 visible slots you can go with warped steel, archaic or elegant defiant. I believe warped steel has more ac than the other two listed. Check in bazaar often, you can luckup on some cheap pieces.
It seems like earrings and rings are very expensive in bazaar. You may want to lookup some bling you can handle with a merc, dragonscale would be a good place to start if you have weak items.

You did not say if your grouping or moling. free play or Silver or Gold?

•Zebuxoruk - most dont doe the quests to unlock the gear but you can buy the coin from the Alerynril the Loyal [ Loyalists of Everquest ]
Bag of Chronobines: 18 Crowns or you might find them in the baz they are tadeable but you have to due progression to see the differnent zone levels of Zeb.
Some SK's do the Bayle's Heraldic Crest Aug in the past but its very time cosuming but their is a NPC
and the T5 merc and check zeb for upgrades as each prog you do unlocks.
Hardcore Heritage zones are active but you missed the lower zones for you level - might be some items or ATTUNABLE gear at your lvl in the bazzar.
•Thach Jerden's Glowing Armor quest drops
the zones active now and later will be too high for your current level.

I may be wrong on this, but I believe that the SoD armor requires group progression, which may be difficult to get since most folks have moved on from this expansion. I'd honestly just buy what you can in the bazaar (defiant will work just fine), and focus on getting to level 80. Then shift to HoT gear for a big upgrade. That'll get you into your 90s comfortably, and the zones you'll be in after that point will be full enough that you can find or bring groups to do content without much difficulty.

Yes, SoD armor requires progression through two tiers, or two themes, before you get something worth wearing beyond Defiant. And you would still need to hunt the drops and get the Archaic gear to forge every piece. It just isn't worth it, besides which, by the time you're level 80 and can wear the tier 3 armor, HoT's abstruse gear is wearable and far better.
For 70-75 I'd recommend tracking down Glowing Othni in the bazaar. If you can't afford that, then the next best thing is gear drops from SoF -- mostly Loping Plains and Dragonscale Hill gear. Raid drops from Anguish are also great through your 70s if you can farm that zone a few times.
