It probably is a set up to spam or at least advertisements. This was the best worded one I've seen yet, if it is. Since there is no link, and only the username to provide any advertisement. Most of them have blatant links to advertising pages. I wondered why no one had reported it, but after reading it, I can see why. The title sounds alot like an ad post (and probably is the setup to some more). Some forums won't let you post links until 2 or 3 posts to avoid such ads. Let's hope this really isn't one of those.

I'm pretty sure it's from a spammer. Note the total "generic-ness" of the content. The exact same post could be made on any kind of forum. It's a robot web crawler that automatically makes an account on any forums it finds. Yther is right that it's cleverer than most because it doesn't post a spam link in the first post. I suspect the robot will be back to "share knowledge" about all kinds of advertised products.
