Why is certain information still hidden except for premium members? What i am referring to would be vendor listings for bought items, recipe lists etc. I dont see this being done for any game but EQ here on zam. For an example see here: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=37934 Without premium the vendor list and recipe list is hidden.
Every single scrap of info is gained from the community, and the site is clearly ad supported so why the premium?
It would seem to me this is being done because we dont have many alternatives so have little choice.

Honestly, I think its because no one is bothering to go about changing it (very easy ways around it, plus they might still get some premium subscriptions from it). You can get most of the information by searching elsewhere, like EQtraders.com for instance, in recipes and buying tradeskill items.
