Ever wonder where some of your old EQ buddies have gone or if they're playing using different names?
Playing on the progression servers got me thinking about the old days
Anyone out there lay claim to these names? (old guildmates, etc)
from a Rallos Zek guild called "Wild Hunt"

Its been years since I've played there or with these folks. Just wondering if they're still around

I started on Rallos Zek, Imperial Forum, sometimes wonder what happened to Coppr, Aelare, Zimba, Dwidlua and Glazed (from ...Cirle guild?)
Also used to play with an enchanter called Yazz and her husband (can't recall his name) we did HH and then EK, had such fun.
And wonder where all those from "Black Daggers' went
Then moved to AB and knew a player called Erodmos, one day he was there, happily doing the trails in PoJ next day he wasn't, nor the day after and even 7 years later I wonder what happened. He just went poof. Officer of a guild and no one knew what happened, no message on forum nada.
Someone said he was going for a weekend away on a bike trip with some friends, if always wondered if something nasty happened that weekend.

I remember Kerrygetz You from around July 1999. A Dark Elf Enchanter, he got me a few times around Karana Spires, I think he had a website with a pic of all the people he had killed.
I think he finally got banned from Rallos Zek, he was quite notorious, good memorys and good times.

I moved to Luclin after around year 2000 and then Morel Thule, started a guild for UK players called United Kingdoms, then switched to Antonius Bayle when that server started - United Kingdoms finally disbanded in there around April 2011, I decided to finally retire from the game.
Looking forward to EverQuest 3, if and when it happens.

The guild that posted screenshots of pks was "artful dead". I was a member of both artful dead and darkenbane, although under different characters.
My main pker was an epic Mage named Someday. My main anti pk was an epic Mage named Vamprea. I also played Classy the bard, leader of sphere of light.
After the merger I went blue and still play a 90 rogue guildless with max AA on Tunare. I also just started on Fippy server which is proving to be more fun than I have had in years. I wish they made a new progressive pvp server though. Pvp was way more fun all those years ago.
Most of my friends back then moved to blue servers with the merger and I often wonder where they are now. Some I still maintain contact with now.
I most wonder about Peter (nnuk, leader of AD, who will always have a place in my heart). And of Candace (Illiana) the nicest person I ever met on a pvp server. Samjackson who played a great warrior even though he only had one hand irl lol. And Tybon who was often lost both in eq and rl.
There are so many others, but it would take me years to record them all.

Doubt many people remember me (and nothing like responding to a 2 year old post) but I'm Maxmeyer (or Mesphito or Darkmore). I spent 5 years on RZ mostly in smaller guilds. I moved on to WoW for a few years and I am now playing GW2 on the Darkhaven server.
I was in AD also, I played Entroppi.

I guess we all move on with our lives, have children and play different games and go to jail for some fed ****. (oops that was me!) lol seriously though,. I have played EQ2, Star Wars Galaxies, Dungeouns and Dragons Online, final fantasy online, world of warcraft, guild wars and even city of heroes and city of villians but nothing ever stacks up to life on rallos zek for me. The friends i have made and the enemes as well. I miss my boy reddogg and all the advice he gave me while i was having trouble mastering my Sk. He was a good mentor. I miss the raids and i even miss hanging in old sebilis watching people get ganked at the entrance rofl. I am very interested to know and i would love to come out of retirement. later

What a great thread! I often wonder what happened to my old buddies and even if I run across them now and don't even know it.
I played on Quellious, but I wasn't in a big time guild and not very well known at all. I played a druid, Kiluvane. After 12 years it's hard to remember the names of characters but the ones who come to mind are Talisandr, Grabem, and Marlborius (something like that hehe).
I play in a progression guild on Trakanon now and I always ask which servers folks are from in hopes of finding my long lost friends.
I have learned that when I find someone I love playing with to get some kind of contact information from them to keep in touch.
