A friend of mine was in pok and noticed all the venders. He bought a few stacks of hero meat. Then the message came across that they were going to rollback any tainted characters so he decided to log off his mage and log in his level 12 monk. He got both the Raster kill and the pipe from karnors. When he logged in this morning he found that instead of the mage being rolled back, his monk was rolled back.
He did many petitions, sent personal tells to gm's and called soe twice and they all said there was nothing they could do and that was their policy. Needless to say he's a bit upset.
Oh, forgot to mention, he's still got those stacks of hero meat. :-/

Answer, I should have just stayed out of the game completely these last days. I guess I got a donation for a buff (not that I remember getting one), anyway got rolled back and lost 4AA's.

All of my accounts got rolled back last night and I had nothing to do with this mess. I have a feeling that everyone is going to get rolled back reguardless if you were involved or not.

I did a /eqplayerupdate for both of my toons this mornning @ 6:00am .
They still show details that are 3 days old. As far as I know, I din't get rolled back. My zerker is 43 and eqplayers shows that I am level 41.
The line stating "Your character should be updated shortly on EQplayers.com," needs to be changed to " We will get around too it later then sooner!"
Not ******** yet, but perhaps may reconsider the extra buck or two I pay to them for the website.

well i lost 20k and i never even logged on i /petition it and got the cash back cause no one had logged on how could i be involved?? (i think sony just went after people that had 20k or higher collected in the last 3 days...)
also... those "vendors"
are in beta, why the hell they hit the live world i don't know. but it sucks that i got rolled back and didn't even play the game. i was threatened to quit over this crap and go play a different game cause it was stupid to target someone that had money in the game when they weren't even remotly involved.

I haven't logged in for about two months, but still i think they should have just let the economy eat their mistake, rather than nearly random punishment of people who were very innocent.
