The answer is yes and no.

You can do the quests in any order to recieve the spells. However in order to obtain the missions you have to do them in order.

For example let's say I'm a cleric and I do 70.4 70.5 and 70.1 In order to get my 70 spell I need to complete 70.2 and 70.3. I cannot obtain the 70.3 quest until I complete the 70.2 quest. My friend the tank however has done the 70.2 quest so he can obtain the quest for our group.

I hope this isn't too confusing. Basically you can do any quest at any time. However the person getting the quest for the group is limited by which ones he has completed in order.

I also made a chart/checklist in excel format listing the missions, which are related, links to the missions and to the cursor loot. You may find a copy of the file here.

Just wondering, how many people have to be in the group to recieve a mission? I often hear about necro's solo/kiting some of these and was wondering if you can get the missions with say, a group of 3 or 4? Thanks.

If you keep a log file: Open the log (found in eqdirectory/LOGS/eqlog_charname_server.txt in something that can handle it, like WordPad. Search for the phrase "] You have been assigned the task" without the quotation marks ("), and that'll let you know which tasks you have attempted.

If you're not sure if you completed it, you can always look it up to get the jest of the task, and remind yourself about it. You should know from the task / quest description whether you completed it or not.

MentalFrog gave the task/quest name and the zones they are in the list, you can look them up by going to Quest - By Zone, and going to that Zone, then Quests for that Zone, then the actual task/quest name.

On a mission a couple days ago, one of our group members was going to log to his alt to get credit for the mission but when he zoned out, it restarted the mission entirely. Is this now the norm? Can you zone out at all (ie to clear aggro)? What if someone goes LD.... is group just screwed? I'm really kinda lost as to what happend and how and why. Any explanation would be appreciated.
