What was that one item that you got that made you feel like the most uber guy/girl on Everquest.

Mine would have to be getting a wurmslayer.

My guild leader killed Emperor Crush for me and let me loot the mace. Not quite the same feeling. So far, the biggest thing I have accomplished for myself is a full set of DoN Journeyman's armor for my chanter. (No augs. Freaking jade shards are impossible to come by Smiley: disappointed)

Although probably not the first time I got the feeling, these feelings are still recent in my head. Last week picked up a Brutish Blade of Balance, and just last night got my first piece of OOW Tier 2.

Grandmaster jewelers Spyglass I don't even use it anymore but it still gives me a great deal of pleasure whenever i open that particular bag in the bank.

Reason? I did all the work, noone else, no groups guilds or duo just me in the jewelers clicking away pre new tradeskill UI.

Rain Caller.

Did the quest myself. Survived Lfay, and Esquetrella, who did her best to take my head off. Uber bow, lol.

Druid Epic, but I still don't feel 'uber'. I am waiting until I can make Grandmaster DoN gear or cut augs.

For me it was my first Armor of Ro piece for Jonwin as I did most of the ingrediant farming solo.( I think it was the helm of ro. ac 13 wisdom 8)
For Courtin it has been making the first 6 prayer shawls.
On second thought, my greatest accomplishment and pride has been in the friends I have made in playing the game.

Can't say that I have had one single item that did this, but an event has. When I was a wee-Pali, and I dropped my first giant in the commonlands, I felt a whole 5 feet tall (dwarf pali, that is)! Items are fun, but loose there flare for me rather quickly, and I suffer from a very bad case of Alt-itis.

Book of Souls

for my rogue's epic. Zoned in to Plane of Hate all alone and there were an amazing number of liches around. Had to sneak up on the rail over the bridge to get passed some liches, run around through the streets and ducking in a couple of corners to avoid a wandering lich. Then into the hall where the book was lying on a table, fortunately not next to a lich.

Grabbed my book , ran out the doors and up the big stairs to the Maestro's place 'Rocky' style, shouted 'I'm the best rogue in Norrath!' and promptly gated out.

Granted, it only took maybe 5 or 10 minutes and was super simple, but it was the first and only time I've felt like I was playing a real thief. Picking the pockets of dark elf rogue guildmaster probably would have been nervewracking and awesome as well, except I got it on the first try so, not so scary.

Worked so hard and so long on this that I felt like I was wearing the #1 item in the whole zone when I finished it.

Nature Walker's Scimitar, without a doubt.

I was beaming for about 2 days at work. Received comments at work like, "Well, SOMEONE just got lai..."

Still use it, to this day.
