Afternoon everyone,

I have a few questions regarding augs and how they work. I haven't actively used augs since LDON and realize that there are much better ones out there.

I have a 25 berserker that I am in the process of twinking the heck out of and was wondering what would the best hp/ac/haste/attack augs would be for someone who may get up to mid 55 or maybe 60. I doubt it that I will ever start raiding but would like to have some fun in the lower levels.

Please advise. Thanks!

P.S. Also, how do I combine augs with armor slots? There is a table in the guild hall (bank area) that looks similiar to the LDon located on the camps.

You click on the bird bath like a Tradeskill container.

It has two slots and a button.

You put the item either slot, and the aug in the other.

If the item has more than one slot that the aug will go in, it goes in the first slot from the top that matches.

Is there a birdbath in the bazaar?

Do you need a solvent to combine the items or is that something just to remove an item?

I don't recall seeing the aug bird bath or whatever you call it in the bazaar. If you are in a guild, they have one in your guild hall. If you aren't, they still have one at each LDoN camp. I usually hit the one in North Ro if I don't use the guild hall one.

The solvent is for removing the augs. You don't need it to add them.

In the bazaar, heading from the central merchant area, to the PoK exit, it is the room on your left before the PoK door. The gnome spell merchant is there, tradeskill containers, and the bird bath is on the right as you enter in the first area, as well as a solvent merchant/

Honestly you can't really get any good augs until the mid 50's and higher. DoN offers a wide variety of hp/haste/ac/attack/regen augs. IIRC none are available until at least 45. You could get some of the player crafted augs in the bazar. However these are very pricey and you'll get a lot more for buying DoN crystals to purchase the DoN augs. You could look into getting LDoN augs. They aren't very good and usually cost a lot of points. By the time you do enough LDoNs to purchase a decent aug you'll have leveled up to the mid 40s anyways. At least this has been my experience.

I would just recomend twinking with gear. You can look into the cultural armor and those augs. Those are pretty nice gear with the augs and don't cost near as much as the oow augs.

Thanks for the advice.

I checked the bazaar last night and there were some Grandmasters augs for sale for 20k or more. Forget that! Also level 55 required level.

I guess I'll just wait till my 50's before I start looking for good augs. LDoN augs were pretty cool when they came out but they drop so infrequently and are fairly weak nowadays.

Just to remove.

Just to clarify - solvents melt augs, distillers remove them in one piece (click on the aug to see which distiller you need to remove it)
