Help wiith Monster Missions PLEASEFollow

This is a two part question about monster missions.... I sure hope someone has some answers... First of all how do you get back to POK or out of the mission when you want to leave... I tried finding the entrance but never did.. Asked and someone said to just die. Someone else said there was a spiritcaller on the AA list, but there was not on mine.. I was playing a Rogue. Second question.. I thought you didn't lose exp when you died on a monster mission??? but I lost half a level because I kept dying to get back to POK.... so what's up with that??? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me..

Monster Missions are different from Monster Shrouds. While shrouded you will lose xp on death, in monster missions you will not.

To "unshroud" you go to the shroud NPC in PoK and type "remove".
I'm not sure if all shrouds have the ability but there is a AA you can hotkey (forgot the name) that will return you to PoK (kinda like a gate).

It sounds to me like you were not in a monster mission. If you spoke to an NPC in PoK, then became a monster, then went somewhere, then you are not in a monster mission.

Also, I think the person who recommended "Spirit Sending" knew you weren't in a monster mission. That is the Gate ability monster shrouds get. To see abilities available to your shroud, go to your inventory screen and click Alt. Abilities. The clicky, or activated, abilities are often on the second tab. To use those abilities, you highlight one, click make hotkey, and put the hotkey on one of your hot bars. Any spells you think you should have as the class you picked are abilities on that screen.

When you go to PoK and become a monster - that is, putting on a monster shroud - you play, get loot, and gain/lose experience just as you would if you were playing normally at the level of the shroud you picked.

Do you gain exp at the same rate as if you were that level? If so, I'm shrouding back to 15 and hitting the Warrens again. I'd be 70 on my shammy in no time :p

I shrouded a 46 cleric to a lvl 20 warrior and fought about 3hrs, made 1 yellow, maybe six blue.

It is not a quick path to power, no :)

Just do the attual monster missions, i've gone from 61-65 in 4 days and got 6 AA while i was at it.

At 13% a mission no matter what level you are, if you get into a group that is using the alt group trick then thats about a level every 3 hours if you really push it.

I couldn't think how to phrase it right. It's, not the same "rate". You can fight reds with a level 5 shroud and still get 10? experience points per kill. So, how many of those to level from, say, 58 - 59? It would be a lot. Smiley: grin
