odd problem may have a simple fixFollow

This started after a patch a few weeks ago, though may be in no way connected:

Mostly it happens when my spell book is open especially when memming a spell. Weird graphic glitches dance across my screen such as black webby triangles, 1/3 of the screen flashes green, etc. It is very psychadelic.

Did a complete file scan a few times. Had a friend over who tried messing with UI files (deleted one and repatched it).

Is there some obvious simple thing we missed doing?

When that happens, I just take another drink of wine and it goes away...

update your video card drivers, reseat your monitor cable, also ensure that if there are any fans on your video card they are all still spinning.

If it is tied to certain things, like opening your spellbook, and it's not completly random it is more than likely your drivers or your videocard itself. Checking your monitor cable or fans is always a good start though. Also make sure your fans are clean. You wouldn't believe how much gunk on your fans will slow them down.

SOE is screwed around with some graphic settings on the last sets of patches. I would make sure you have the latest video drivers (but make sure you can go back to the old ones if the new ones make things worse). If it still happens report the bug and just hope for the best.

Thanks for input. New drivers got rid of 98% of the wierdness. The odd flicker that remains I can ignore. The card was recently put in but had been updated since I bought it.
