A lot lot lot of people still play EQ, and you don't really need all the expansions right away... at walmart they should have most of the expansions all together in everquest: platinum for like $19.99 or $29.99 I think. and then you can just buy the expansions that arent on that whenever you feel like it

welcome noobie. Yes a lot of people still play EQ and it's still fun (even if after 5 years I like a break from it now and then)

I think sometime during january you will be able to buy all expansion as some kind of platinumpack for like $20.

Someone can probably confirm this for you.

It's Titanium, and I would wait for that since it's less than a month, and a good bargain.

Yes, if you don't want to wait get EQ Platinum. EQ Platinum is the first 5 expansions for about 20bucks. You'll have a hard time finding it though as Sony pulled it from the shelves recently to make way for EQ Titanium as Kelti mentioned.

EQ Titanium will be ALL 10 expansions for 20 bucks. Should be out soon. Check Sony's sit.

I would personally wait for EQ: Titanium....EQ plat is only available now via digital download...sucks for folks like me stuck on dial up.

Titanium comes with ALL 10 expansions, but it also includes each expanions in game item...most of them are cheezy particle effects, buy a few are really usefull.

So, If I were you, I would download the 21 day trial, play around with that until Titanium comes out, then upgrade your account to that.

I ordered a copy of titanium platinum from EBGames for my sons account, it will ship January 10, 2006 and cost $19.99 minus 10% for the allas premium members discount, plus shipping.
