So i'm an old school EQ player, but recently wanted to try and found out love WoW.

WoW goes down on tuesdays and I decided to fire up EQ seeing if for some reason I could get on. Well I log on to the 3 accounts I had access to (yes I played EQ that much) and I was able to log on and also have all my gear.

My credit cards that these accounts were drawing from are all cancelled, and I have no idea how these accounts are still going on.....any ideas?

The 21-day FREE service period begins when you log in and continues for 21 consecutive days, but to take advantage of this limited time offer you must log in before 11:59 P.M. (PST) January 13, 2006. Please remember that when your 21-day free service period expires or is terminated, your account will not remain active without you entering valid payment information to re-activate billing. This offer is not available for Station accounts that currently have an active EverQuest subscription or Station Accessâ„¢ subscription or for EverQuest or Station Access accounts that were terminated by SOE.

Your timing was good. The above is a quote from SOE.

Is That Quote recent or is it the same one from a few months ago?

Lol, no kidding great timing indeed, thank you for the quick response.

I noticed when I logged on the new UI, I couldn't tell what spells were what.

Oh well maybe I will keep my one accout alive, I hardly play but I still feel like EQ is home.

I think this is what you wanted

It's not the exact qoute but it has the some of that information in it. I can't find it on Sony's website.

And in light of there being an offer of 21 free days of EQ, I'm spending half an hour doing 4 months worth of updates and patches...I hope my video card doesn't explode when I try to play.
