OK I love Everquest. I originally bought the Everquest Platinum pack from Walmart and have played ever since. My brother wants to play the game now and was wanting to buy it for him for X-mas, but ever place i've looked (including online) says out of stock. Did Sony discontinue the 7 game pack Everquest Platinum? Are they planning on upgrading it and re-release it with a few added expansions? Where can i buy this for my bro? Any ideas or rumors everquest brethren?
order it from your local best buy or other comp game retailer if they have a copy anywhere in your area they will normaly take from one store to give to another. Second not enough volumn for alot of store to keep on shelf so you might try to taly to a human at a large on-line outlit and see if they can order it. if it akes 3-4 weeks cool if it never comes bummer but the sooner you order the sooner it might come

Well it seems the Platinum pack has been discontinued. It looks like sony plans a new updated Pack with more expansion included....not sure of release date or even name of the pack...but my email back from sony hinted at the new combined pack...but it's offical the Platinum pack is no longer being produced. Guess we wait and see.
34 bucks for evolution lol, isn't that the one you can digital download for $10 from there website?
There is several copies of Platinum at my local wal-mart still. I outta buy them up and sell them for 1000 bucks on ebay :p j/k

I just purchases the Platinum Package less than a month ago for $19.99. Had to make a lot of phone calls to all the game stores in the area, but unless they discontinued it in the last couple of weeks, it is still out there.
I think that you can digitally download it
This topic came up about a month or two ago and I had just purchased one at a Comp USA around that time. You should be able to check their inventory online for the closest store to you (hopefully there is one as I don't think they have it available for delivery anymore).

I returned from WOW after a year and purchased EQ Plat at Best Buy in Vancouver. They had lots on the shelf
