There are actually a couple forms of charm kiting. What people are usually talking about when they say charm kite is actually swarm kiting. This is done by pulling several mobs, charming one and having it attack another. The rest of the mobs or swarm will assist and beat down the charmed mob very quickly sometimes only taking a few seconds. You then use invis to break charm just before your pet dies. Now you finish it off with DoTs and get full xp for the kill. Repeat till all mobs are dead.

Another method that is also called charm kiting is pulling 2 mobs. In this case you are generally killing a high hit point mob. Start DoTing the target mob and after you build good agro charm the second mob to follow it around and beat on it (agro kite) while you kite it.

yeah the second way he mentioned is what you do when you are in your 60s and you cant charm dark blue mobs anymore, you can charm light blues to help your dps while you dot kite.

What level is your bard Snow? We might be able to offer good hunting spots to try out. The real good charm kiting begins at 39 with the 60 second duration charm. You can begin at 27 though with the 18 second mana free charm to get some practice and pretty good xp.

The 39 charm takes 60 mana a pop so try to pick up some flowing thought to keep at it. Only way to increase bard mana regen is thru flowing thought or tribute.

Happy kiting my friend.

Oh, you might want to bring a buddy cleric along while you're learning in case of accidents, heh heh. Wish I would have.
