Did one of the patches over the last couple of years break customised UIs? The UI I used to use way back when, which I love I might add, doesn't seem to work.

Last weeks UI overhaul broke quite a few UI's.

I use Quartz and luckily DarkSir got right on top of it and patched it so it would at least load. Other UI's might not be so lucky. Hopefully they will be patched soon.

First big break was a few months back, there were fixes posted over on eqinterface if you want to fix your own but most of the gurus fixed that one so you could be lucky, and could find an update for yours.

Trick with latest break on last patch is to make sure all the old default UIs are in your custom directory because Eq will now look for the latest defaul5 UI to load to replace any missing custom files ... and that makes bad things happen.

Easiest is to make a new directory in your UIFILES folder, copy the files from the Old_default (something like that) directory into it. Then copy your custom ui files into there.

Well it sorted me out anyway.

On EQinterfaces I found a new UI named "NewWorld" and I love it!
(No, I did not create it, so this is not a plug!)

To the Author of of it I send many props and thanks!

NewWorld UI

Thank you Desideratus!
