Did I miss it or has there been any info added for new MM's... the BRAINS one comes to mind. I don't do mm's often, but I'm in the mood to try something new.

dont forget that after protecting the warders you must go stop kerafyrm from running across the bridge to iceclad to his freedom! I did this once in PoR beta and thats where we lost, cuz we didnt know what we were doing and by the time we got to the sleeper he was long gone (like not even 2 mins).

i tryed once more when it went live, but they fiddled with it to the point where it was rediculously hard. got to the point where the dragon assassins spawn, but we couldnt take em out. for all i know they might've made that part more managable, pulling the kerafyrm to his tomb.

still have not seen the rewards for this MM lol.

Spirit of Mennelle says 'You want to know who I am? I.. I'm not sure. I only vaguely recall a few things that happened to someone I know. I believe her name was Mennelle. This story is quite tragic, are you sure you want to hear more?'
You say, 'I want to hear more'
Spirit of Mennelle says 'If you insist. Mennelle was witness to a most terrible occurrence - the event that lead to the fall of the Combine Empire. Mennelle was in attendance at a great conference of the Combine Empire between all the races of Norrath, right here in our City Hall! It was a rather important day as the Dark Elves were finally about to join the Combine Empire.'
You say, 'What happened to the combine empire?'
Spirit of Mennelle says 'Mennelle, a servant girl tasked with serving libations to all of those at the council meeting, did something terible. The ale she had served to the Council was poisoned! She froze that day and did nothing to stop the foul beings that poisoned the ale. It must have been General Seru she told me.'
You say, 'Who was General Seru?'
Spirit of Mennelle says 'To this day, she holds herself responsible for the fall of the Empire. Perhaps you will be able to share her memory and sorrow and [take the action] she never could and at least try to prevent Seru from poisoning the Freeport Council and all of its guests.'

Details:
This is a real toughy, it took us about 2.5-3 hours to complete, but we were 1-2 people short at any given time during the mission. After following the initial poisoning of the Combine Empire Representatives, Lord Inquisitor Seru and Katta duke it out against each other, while you fight off increasingly difficult waves of corrupt guards to protect the council members. Given half an opportunity, the guards WILL attack and kill the members, and you can only have a couple die before the mission is failed.

Kill the guards (and loot their weapons, most are upgrades!) until Seru finally kills Katta. Katta falls saying that the "weapons of the protectors are the strongest ever made". That statement is a hint for you, since none of your weapons can touch Seru.

At this point, "Protectors of the Inquisitor" start spawning in waves. Kill them, while still protecting the council members from Seru and his personal guards and loot their weapons, which WILL hit Seru. Knock Seru down to 20% and he will run away, letting the council members survive and causing a chest to pop with the reward.

Hi all it's me (the OP)
I've been on a hiatus from EQ for a while, so I apologize because I'm sure the list is missing a bunch of new MMs since the last expansion. Currently I'm planning on restarting EQ with a couple of friends, so in time I'll be able to pour over all the pages of this thread I've since missed and update the list. I'm glad to see so many people have found it useful :) See you soon.

The Rescue of Vodrak
Can be done in 10 minutes with 3 people.
Gives 40% of an aa at Level 70.

Not a bad mission to do inbetween raids :)

Strat is still the same. 1st kiter gets all the mobs and runs down to cave hails Vod and continues to kite around in circles.

2nd kiter gets gem and runs to cave. 1st kiter dies and 2nd takes over.

Keyer gets key and gem and runs to cave by vod, give vod key after mobs have run past. Hits vod once to agro him and has vod follow to out side of cave. Once vod is out of cave keyer zones out to drop aggro.

Rest of group gets their gems after 2nd and keyer get theirs (you don't get exp if you are not holding a gem at the end.)

1st kiter gets gem.

While 2nd kiter continues to kite mobs in cave. Rest of group prepars for the 2 pops at zone in. (Sitting usually agro's the pops. Or if warrior throw stone works well too :).

Either have a healer mez the mobs or mez one and kill the other.
Warrior's are not mezzable...

Continue this until vod finishes his script and zones out.

After you get your message that you've won. Zone out for exp.

I see on lucy's a new item an artifact called a Timeworn Meat Tenderizer and other " " Meat Tenderizers scaling in power from the Cagrek's Meat Tenderizer at level 70 reccomended, to the level 30 required Battle Worn Meat Tenderizer.. The lore description on each is all the same: "The perfect tool for crushing meat or bone."
Are these from a MM? They appear to follow the same format as other MM droped gear.
And which MM is it from?? This would be a slight upgrade for my 70 rogues offhand weapon.

Great list. I havent played EQ in 3 years and coming back is really mind boggling with the new information. I was told the minimum number of players to do a MM is 5. Is this correct and if not can you mention which ones do have a minimum to start? Thanks

Some of the MM's can be done with less than a full group easily. Dain 1 comes to mind where I have done it with just 3. Others like the Griffon's plight I have tried but not with success with just 3. I know there is one that you can only have 3 in, but I forget which one that is. The Braaaains one in Kith you need a full group to beat the timer. (If that timer goes off, it gets ugly quick).

Ok looked through whole post no info on Defending the Grove. SuiG has not posted on thread in about a year. Think i'm gonna copy his work from top of post and update list with any Info I have as well as any relevant links I can find. Not really sure on a good way to post the information.

Obtaining The Diamond Studded Coldain Historical Seal (1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70):
Each of the three Dain missions above gives a piece of the coldain historical seal. After completing the mission you hand the piece of the seal into Dain's Historian Duggans whom gave you the mission. For each individual piece you are given a character flag. Once you have one of the three character flags (it does not matter which order you do them in) he will give you a version of the Coldain Historical Seal (Augment) based on what level you currently are. You will not see any stats on the augment until you augment it into something and equip it as the stats are not static but are calculated based on how many of the three character flags you have. As you get more flags the stats will go up (even if you already have it augged the stats will still update if you complete more flags).
NOTE: If you get a lower level version of it and then obtain a high enough level for a better version simply destroy the one you have (you can remove it and destroy it or destroy the armor its augmented in altogether) and hail Dain's Historian Duggans again. He will give you a new augment based on your level.

By the way... stuff that is listed as Race: ALL except DRK is still going to let drakkins wear it...

I've yet to find a single piece that is truly like that.

I just posted a very detailed guide to 3boxing / completing the clockwork mm 'War Machines' found in lavastorm. As time permits I plan to continue adding guides for completing / 3boxing the various mm's.
