How To Question-Allied Guilds :: World of Warcraft

We are allied with another guild, working out very well. They invited us and this was a while back.

Can we be allied with more than one guild and how do you set this up. I am leader of my guild and would like to invite another one.

Would this make the other allied guild also part of this alliance, and this would be fine.

If all goes okay, setting of new chat channel or combine them with the existing one?

Just thinking about all this at this point.

I would talk to your currently allied guild and see how they would feel about it. I've seen 3 guilds all allied and running raids together. I think after it's set up the best would just to have 1 channel for communication.

there are no set rules regarding how you form 'alliances'... although I'd consult the other guild you're allied with about both these issues

Morrell Thule had for quite a while the "George Alliance" a group of small guilds, at one time I know there were six, that banded for raid purposes. They set up a channel, had a website and everything. The alliance may still be going on E marr but havent seen a lot of chat about it.

Just got to work it out with existing allies usually. My guild was originally involved in a 5 guild raiding alliance every Saturday. This worked out well for all, so well that two of the guilds merged with mine and the other two guilds mergered with each other, so now its only an alliance of 2 guilds. =)

FV had an a few Alliance Raid Groups. AWNN (Alliance with No Name) had like 4 or 5 guilds that were alligned to raid PoP and above. Allthough when the core guild, Esoteric Order, left for WoW it broke apart but it reformed as something else that i cant remember.
