I am in search of Trent Wood. Jyle Windshot in Freeport says he has some and will trade for 2 Gold and one "nifty Fadark Champion Tunic". Where can I find, make or get a "Nifty Fadark Champion Tunic". This quest may have changed Quest info say to give him a small lantern. That does not work any more.

The Faydark Champion Tunic sounds like the basic chest item that you get when first handing in your note to your guildmaster. I can't imagine why they changed this quest, but if you deleted your tunic (as almost everyone does), sounds like you're SOL.

Isn't there an imposter that asks for something in exchange for the tunic but doesn't give it to you?
Haven't done this quest in several years, but yes, back then, there were TWO Jyles, one in East and one in West Freeport IIRC. The right one asks for lanterns, the evil one cons the shirt off your back.
The right Jyle is on the second floor in the Hogshead or Hogs'something' Inn NOT on the docks - he wants a small lantern for the wood.
If you check the names carefully the imposter's name is spelled slightly different.
