'morning everyone... *yawn*

Thu: Two LDoNs, first went really well, the second terribly wrong. Dinged 33. Claimed my spirit shroud. Went to Oggok afterwards and got my task for cultural journeyman armor.

Fri: No EQ.

Sat: First visit to Abysmal Sea. Got slaughtered trying to go through Jaggedpine Smiley: banghead

, and found out that it is much easier to use the LDoN Magus's. Finished the smithing freebie quest and started the tailoring one. Claimed the roboboar on my lvl 20 gnome mage. Smiley: yippee

Sun: As I'm always some levels behind my friends, I wanted to make up some experience. Got buffed and headed for The Gread Divide. The Kael Drakkal Wolves were pretty easy, but experience was crap. Tried to take some yellow frost giants down, but they hit way too hard for a 33 Beastlord with a 26 pet. Logged after an hour or so, frustrated and not being able to achieve what I wanted... Smiley: disappointed

Fri: I picked up my newly built computer. P4 3.2 64bit, 2gigs ram, 2-200g HDs, ASUS motherboard, 2 ASUS gforce 7800's daisychained together and ASUS Vento 3600 green case with Win XP Pro 64. Only problem is the Win 64 doesn't recognize the 32bit drives that run my crappy old DSL router so I have to wait till Tues for my new DSL router to arrive before I can actually start using it. /sigh Anyway, I log on to eq and do some MM's.

Sat: Logged on and and the guild raided PoI. Was a cake raid and everyone got flagged. Afterwards we did some MM's

Sun: Started out with some MM's. Later I went to help two people get their HS keys. Then I MQ'd a Demi Lich Skullcap for someone in the guild. Then I spent the rest of the evening trying out different MM's and dinged 69. Did a few more orc missions and then went to bed.

Made a level and 4 or 5 AA doing Monster Missions. I hear a nerf is in the works for Wednesday.

Other than that, Hockey is back...

Dinged level 53 chanter!!! Had a great group going in Plane of Justice. Very neat zone. Loot stinks but some of the drops sold for good plat. Just didn't drop alot...

Made it to the basement. Pops repop very quickly down there and we were just barely able to keep up. Got into trouble a few times but did okay.

I can't believe how long it takes to get from level 52 to level 53. Huge difference between level 50 and 51. But I guess thats to be expected.

what's hockey?

Friday: Spent some time in the Warrens levelling up my troll shammy. Those Erudites are gonna love me.

Saturday: Moved out to Stonebrunt, killed some there. Bought a Wood-Elf potion but got lost in the Erudite city looking for the molar turn in guy and ended up zoning. Went back to the bazaar looking for a friendly potion to buy, none available but 5 and 10 dose and I didn't want to spend that much money.

Sunday: 1 dose Erudite potion found and bought. Did turn-ins. Didn't get that much experience after 43 molars but the Erudites tolerate a troll running around their town now. Levelled to 22 and spent the last of my plat on a drogmar.

No EQ this weekend, Gave EQ2 a solid try....

got a crusader to 16 and a Druid to 12.
Pretty fun, not enough so to make me not Play EQ though.

Tonight will be back to the Grind that I missed this weekend.

So level 59 is gonna be a pain in the ********

/sigh

I often wonder how much it takes to get to the new cap limits with each expansion that raised the level limit.

51 was the original uber level.

Then it was 55? or 60?

Then 65.

Then 70.

And, of course the AA's....

Heck, I am only 20% into my first AA point. And I turned off the experience when level 52 was going so slow...

and aren't there like 1500 AA points total?

Pretty sure the Jaggedpine tunnel zones you back to Surefall.. it did me on Friday.

Friday: Trying to hunt Crystalized Sulfur for new Research.. cleared Jaggedpine Gnoll caves twice, got one. Visited the Queen of the Neriads for fun.. did she give me a FT1 Wand.. no, cloak. Evening soloing Drachnids in Stoneroot Falls for parchments, then tried a solo Creator but the combination of tired me and a hasted cleric mob on second pull = smacked down Felicite. Went to bed.

Saturday: Evening only.. more Drachnids.. quick doued Creator (go go 123 crystals each for < an hour).

Sunday: Quick afternoon Fear Raid-ette with a friends guild (so.. 2 groups). Caught Dread, Fright and Terror (Gift shaman got her tear and Gift Necro won the Amulet of Necropotence roll), but no Wraith of Shissar so back again soon. Spent the evening exploring Undershore and Stoneroot Falls, then a relaxing slaughter around he loop in Plane of Innovation with Gifties (for Saltpeter).

Have 4 Runic Parchments, 41 Sulfurs, 39 Saltpeters and 22 AA banked so tonight it's Arcane Tongues 3 and try to make some Night Fire copies for all the other Necros in the Gift. *crosses fingers*

LOL, welcome to the high end. 59 is a long one. 60 flys by almost as if it wasn't even a level. 61-65 isn't too bad. 66-70 gets a little longer again. Don't forget to stop and get aa's along the way. They help out a lot in different classes.

Oh yeah I forgot my weekend update:

Fri: Got they keys for the ikky raids

Sat: Did some MM's for aa's as well as did a couple of the DoD spell missions.

Sun: Time raid ended early because not enough people. Went and did some MPG trials and some more DoD missions.

Resubscribed to EQ...made my necro, got him to level 10!

Did the diamond mask quest in temple of Droga, was pretty fun invising through all those goblins. Tried to do the antique ring quest but the high quality cougarskins are waaaaaay too expensive in bazaar. So I went to iceclad and checked the merchants to see if they had any, but they didn't :(

So I decided to do my armor missions, did the first 2, and I'm medding my mana to kill this named bandit as we speak for the 3rd.

Thurs: Helped the GF's Bard camp the named Wyrm in BW for her Epic.
Fri: POI raid. Took down MB and got me a flag and a free AA.
Sat: Did a few MM and did some housecleaning in the GB.
Sun: Lazy day. Gained a level and a half on my Shammy.

No EQ at all this weekend. started up Resident Evil 4 again. Beat it for the second time today so itsback to EQ.

Trying my hand at AC right now but my 53 BL is getting the tar beaten out of him....

Was out of town until last night, but then got logged on and did a very quick MM (our guild as the kitty MM down to about 10minutes).

I'd been wanting to get my 46 Ranger keyed for Seb and was curious if she could pull it off on her own. She did. Smiley: grin

She even managed to sneak by all the ghosts to do the turn in, though she camped right there with Emperor Ganak rather than sneak back out.
