Brownies of DOOM is rightFollow

Anyone beaten this MM in lesser faydark yet? We have tried multiple times, different strategies and just can't figure it out. We have not even un-corrupted one brownie yet. Please help.

We do the Butcherblock one and the Stonebrunt one very easily. Is the Faydark one just that much harder or what?

Me and a few guildies tried it for the first time last night and won. It's really hard compared to the other MMs, took us quite some time. We had 4 Rangers 1 Druid and 1 Mage, but after a bit one ranger had to go and we finished with 5.

The key to the brownies is getting one at a time. If you attack them single without any adds they shouldn't pose much of a problem. Make sure you have a Druid for heals! The brownie fort you spawn by is nearly impossible, because when you pull youll get 2-3 brownie adds and 2 spiderlings as well (we ended up killing them though, through some creative pulling methods). Try pulling to the walls to avoid adds. The best place we found was the Faerie camp southwest of the brownie camp. There are a lot of non-roaming corrupted brownies there without any others near them. And the only other mobs around are indifferent faeries and the occasional roaming mob that will add. Just keep attacking them until you get them below 30% and then hit the wand to convert them.

After 20 of those killing Equestrielle is a snap. We pulled it to our spawn point so that anyone who died could hop back in the fight, but I don't think anyone even did. It dropped a really nice pair of gloves that were BST DRU MNK only IIRC. Overall it took a LONG time and a LOT of deaths and in the end I got less XP than the other MMs (possibly because of not having full group?) but it was more fun than any of the others I did besides maybe Naggy.

SuiG is dead on with regards to strategy.

As for group roles, I recommend 2 of each, with the second of each class understanding that they are to offtank. A ranger a mage and a druid is more than a match for a single corrupted brownie. When you double up, it becomes easier to split into two groups of three to deal with an add.

From what I've read and understand about this mission, this is actually for multiple groups (up to 18 players). I've not done this, so I can't confirm it, but it would make sense, considering how hard I've heard people say it is.

That would be interesting. How would you start that, just form a raid and then get the task? It might be fun to try.
