I downloaded evolution and did the patch, got an account,and made a character. When i tried to enter the tutorial it shows the loading screne and says loading zone files for awhile and then the whole program shuts down and goes to my desktop like nothing is/was open. I have the reqs so if you know what could be wrong please tell me bcuz i want to play so bad.

Make sure you have the latest version of Direct X installed (9.0c I believe) and make sure you have the latest video drivers installed.

sounds like your memory may be a bit short. What you describe is what happens sometimes when I run both accounts on my machine. When I reduce the number of programs I am running both will load.

oh dude i know whats wrong you need to register youre expansion when you get into the main menu of EQ search around in there i think its in the my account link or something for "Register Expansions" then enter the CD key where it tells you to it should work!

You should turn off your firewall, if you're running one, too (or at least give rights to EQ).
