Levels?Follow

I have been unable to check out the new zones from DoD, as my local Best Buy AND CompUSA failed to have it on the shelves yesterday. *crossing my fingers for today* I was curious, what levels are the new zones geared towards? In other words, is this expansion gonna be for my mains or more geared for my alts?

From everything I've read, and what I poked around in last night, the new zones are geared for levels 45+. The starting zone's (Corathus Creep) mobs were all green and very light blue at level 70, the next zone over (The Undershore) were mostly dark blue with the occasional white and yellow.

I had a guild group go into The Hive and get owned. Their tank was about 14k buffed. So it's safe to say that, along with Dreadspire Keep, are two of the three 68-70 only zones.

The zones are really pretty though, I dig the graphics and the new character models for the mobs. They have illithids, werewolves, mushroom men, and new orc models; just a smorgasborge of eye candy.

All in all everything looks really promising with this, and judging from what I read about the high end content, I don't think the uber guilds on the servers will get through this expansion any time soon.

The first zone, Corathus Creep, was Light Blue and Blue to my 67 shaman. Toughest thing I found there had a max hit of 288 but most were much lower. Everything was fully slowable and ran but not very fast. A group of 50s could probably hunt here without too much trouble.

There is a clockwork town at the beginning of this zone that might be intersting to explore for a youngster.

The second zone The Undershore was far tougher. Everything here was dark blue but I did not go far into the zone so tougher things might be nearby. I survived a double pull but was almost OOM by the time the second one died. I killed a few creatures here and they were mostly to fully slowable and didn't run. They did hit hard though and I had to keep both Quiessence and Spirit of Perseverence up to tank them but if a shaman can tank them they can't be too tough. Expect lots of HP on them though. A group of low 60s could do well here.

There's a town at the beginning of this zone too but I was dubious to them so I could only shop with racial sneak but they did offer me some tasks I declined, probably to improve faction.
