Not bad at all!

Her gear looks better than Eivi's at that level. How far are you epic-wise? The Ragebringer would be a magnificent upgrade. (I saw you got the book)

Not very. Got the Ishva and SMR, book and note off the dwarf. Dark elf pwn3d me for trying Smiley: wink2. No Phinny robe nor the OoT one much less the crystal diamond dagger.

I'd like to get it done but I've my doubts if Aude Sapere could take the General at the moment anyway so I'm in no real hurry.

What is the best geared tank in your guild like? V'Ghera is really not that bad. I think a 2 cleric CH-chain and a patch healer will do the trick easily.

Tani is a *******. I think I paid him 20+ visits before he finally had it in his pockets. Do you know you can use a DE to pull him to the zoneline and hold him there with Hails? It's not really rogue like, but if he spots you at the zone line you'll save yourself a death.

By the way, the robes only come into play when the General doesn't drop the quill, so not all is lost. Of course he didn't drop the quill for me, but the robes on FV are tradeable. Are they on your server, too?

p.s. I presume you mean the Jagged Diamond Dagger. Just bring an aggro kiter and take Renux out. She is cake.

For my epic we had an amazing bard pull them and had singles. He did it so smoothly we were able to do it again for another rogue straight after. You have access to amazing bards?

Doing it the hard way with mixed "ranger pulls" we managed to wipe FoS (or was it SoC) a couple of times on FV before we had the hang of it properly.

My magelo is a little out of date, but for 60's groups in Aude Sapere I am it. See Fortis McMannus in my sig. I have ND2 and CS2, but still just CA1. And I have a few more AC and about 50 more HP now. But that's about it.

Edit: My warrior is my first toon and my main, so there's not a lot of money to upgrade him. So, I realize 30k here and 15k there and I can get like 100 more AC and 300 more HP easy, but I just don't have the resources to do that. I'm not sure how everyone else feels, but if it means getting an epic done then I'm not averse to picking up a better geared tank for the group.

Allright, that puts you at what? Close to 7K raid buffed? Should be plenty to take V'Ghera, especially after slow lands.

Oh, and Cobra is right, but I assumed Joph would box his bard anyway. Clear the trash around the house, and leave one named up. Run in the rogue, drop hide, hand in the note (box? - cant remember), hide again, hit trade, wave to V'Ghera. Single pull the meanie and run him to your party. Commence slaughter. Win.

I'm that rare breed of EQ player with one computer and one account Smiley: wink2

I could pull the first couple with the bard, log, etc of course. Phinny robe is No Drop (trade, whatever) and I've never seen the Quill drop in the five or so General kills I've done but that might just probability is going to catch up with me.

It could be that we ARE able to pull it off. I wasn't disparaging AS in any way -- we've done some fun stuff I wouldn't have tried with other people. Last time I did General was back in Luclin or early PoP era so I'm probably remembering him tougher than he is.

Incidentally, my Magelo is updated. Not much new to see except that I hit 57 Smiley: grin

I don't know how well geared your bard is, but you might be able to solo Phinny.

That said: I'm 100% positive you can do V'Ghera! And heck, at least you can try.

Chop chop! ;-)

Or Steamfont if you wanted to help in the fight and not just be staring at pandas.

Pandas? Not too interesting, unless they pee up trees.

Besides, the only reason to be in Stonebrunt is the Swiftclaw Sash, and my necro a) doesn't need haste and b) won't kill fellow Heretics anyways.

You can go to Stonebrunt for Waks of the Frozen Skies too, a nice little item for melees in their 20's and 30's.

It's also an important step on my "1-70 on Nuttin' But Kobolds" levelling plan.

1-10 Kobolds in Toxxulia Forest or Steamfonts
10-20 Kobolds in Warrens
20-35 Kobolds in Stonebrunt
35-50 Kobolds in SolB
50-65 Kobolds in Velk's
65-70 Kobolds in SolC

Level ranges approximate. I refuse to acknowledge the abominations in the tutorial as kobolds and fear for when they spread that horrid model to the rest of the game.

What, like the Rathe Mountains?

Being non-lore, they make excellent pet weapons.
