You could farm and sell Acrylia Ore, which is found on grimlings in Acrylia Caverns, Grimling Forest, and Tenebrous Mountains.

Should be very easy for you to make a few hundred in an hour going up and down the geonid tunnel in Crystal Caverns. As a druid you have all the tools you need to invis and levitate in (although at your level you could fight your way in as well), and port yourself out.

Biggest problem being finding a time when it's not camped.

I'm pleased to say that as EQ is constantly changing, there are no "tried and true" answers here. The movement of high end players to other games has profoundly changed the bazaar scene. Spider silks are at an all time low, and mid level items are not moving as rapidly. At this time, you are most likely best off farming for items for a vendor sale (gems and plat). If you run a trader, you will have to work extra hard to figure out what is "up" and still selling fast and at a good profit: then, of course, how you are going to get whatever it is to sell.

Most people assume farming is about soloing: you may well want to try a small group. Agree on the loot rules up front, of course. Are you after good equipment? Maybe a non plat approach would work... LDoN gear is good at the top end, and you may be just a short time away from reportedly good "DoN vendor" items.

DS in OoW is, or was, an interesting zone as soon as you can manage the less threatening end: occasional gems, a little plat, XP for you and then aug drops which sell fine.

Good old Ice Giants in everfrost still drop the largest amounts of straight plat. At higher levels, hill giants in rathe spawn faster and are better to farm.

You also need to be "smart"... at least research well. I think i know the value and purpose of virtually every drop from Plane of Innovation. As a result I can walk in, loot a trash mob left rotting with an unsaleable gem, and still make money. I know that it is part of a little, safe quest in PoK which results in a spell that sells for 140p to vendors. As a result, as you REALLY get to know zones, you can keep cash flowing in at a steady pace. I'm not suggesting PoI will make you rich overnight, however.

My lvl 57 Druid farms plat killing Hill Giants in Rathe Mtns and earns 500pp+ per hour. On Fennin Ro there is seldom more then 5 players in the zone at any given time. Very easy kills and areas to kite altough i use root and dot till dead.

Rathe is safest good plat per kill...fast spawns, all melee, room to kite ( or run away :)....My best time was 1200pp for one casting of KEI, I had 10 live Giants rooted and epic dotted at one time :) really keeps you moving and keeps it fun :) get elder arms for sure and Epic it may take alittle longer to kill, but I kill everything that moves on the hill.

Colbalt scar good plat ( gems ) and exp, a couple of named to watch out for but ez to do and again room to kite.

Dulaks harbour: Diamonds & gems off ship crews and Gems off land mobs, alittle tighter to kite in there root/snare/dot mainly plus quite a few named.

Acrylia Caverns : very tight, large argo range, Casters nad CH mobs but really sweet pp/exp for runes, maybe alittle rough for lvl 50 though depending on your skill.

Ldons are great plat/exp for time involved ( and fun as Hell )

Safe hunts and Rare drops!

If you are able to handle them, the vamps in the Coterie castle in Tenebrous Mountains make for good plat.

I duoed it with an old BL friend of mine back when my wizard was in his mid 50's. We would kill till we were full on loot, evac to Katta, sell, and bank!

My wiz is now 68 and I was soloing some cash there just last night. Most all vamps went down fast for me. Beware the Coterie Corruptor, though! He almost put a fast end to my farming.

Just be careful, work your way up and down the castle, and use the Katta merchants and bankers. It's not the best, prolly, but it's often a fairly empty zone and it's decent money.

also in high hold keep, if you do not mind the faction hits, you can go in there and kill every guard in there usualy , the place is dead on my server, they respawn at a decent speed, and there is probly a total of around 30 of them. each guard that you kill drops a fine steel shortsword ( sells for like 5pp ) and they also usualy drop around 2-6pp in cash.

comes out to like 10 pp a kill, 30 guards, 300pp a respawn cycle, and if you get really good at knowing where they are, and set up a routine, you could easyly make 1k an hour.

there are also vendors in the place, making it very easy to sell off your kills, and also a bank there as well.

i usualy do this as a monk, im not too sure how well it would work with a druid, its a very easy place tho, the guys are like level 20-25.

hope this helps.
