#1 Mar 07 2004 at 12:08 AM Rating: Decent
Hi all Im a lvl 21 druid and the I cant seem to figure out how to organize my spells in my spell book, Its very confusing. Is there a way I can move a spell to a different part of the book. Is deleting the spell and buying it again the only way to organize an already unorganized spell book. Any help would be great thanks.

if you right click a spell in your spellbook and left click the new spot where you want it it will transfer to that spot. As far as organization, I use the official spell book that came in the boxed set of everquest guides. There it list spells alphabetically by level, and this is how I have my book setup. This way, I know at a glance what spells are missing, so I can continue the vain effort of having the elusive "complete spellbook." BTW I have been told by some "oldtimers" that having a complete spellbook is considered a "rare" thing.

thanks Gaibban. Phew now i dont have to buy the spells over again. And by the spell book in the everquest guides do you mean the small sized books. One more thing is druids of Karana a guild on stromm and if yes are they still recruiting new members?

Gabban I a druid of the halfling race thus he follows karana. As I am a druid of the wood elf race thus i follow tunare. Thus i am a druid of Tunare. It's just a title of sorts it's not his guild affiliation.

Yes, I bought the "small sized" guides sometime ago and found out that the only useful (though now a wee bit outdated, with the LDoN and GoD spells) book was the Spellbook. The rest of the guides were pretty much lore and newbie information, although, if you are as neurotic as I am, you may want to have every dang piece of information about any intrest readily available, LOL...Smiley: disappointed

Now there are context menus for loading spells and the ability to load spell sets I no longer bother with organising my spell book (except page 13 is blank).

I just load in the new spells in the first available place. I never ever have to load spells from it any more so having all my Circles on one page and Rings on another is not needed. Once you know your way around the context menu you don't need to know what page they are on.

Sometimes with a new spell there is a bit of a hunt after scribing it to find where it has appeared in the menu but that just helps place it for use.

Of course I do not suffer from an urge to obsessive neatness.
