I understand that the term gay with the meaning of lame for the most part isn't aimed specifically at gay people with the intent of harming or disrespecting them, but the fact of the matter is that it does offend them and disrespect them. My point all along is concideration for other people's feelings. Knowing what you know now, why not just use the word LAME to mean lame since you wouldn't be offending anyone that way?

My general belief in life is to do whatever you want as long as you're not hurting anyone(including yourself) or limiting another person's right to do what they want. I'm personally hoping for a world where everyone shows concideration for other people's rights and feelings and we work towards common goals for the benefit of all. I know this may never come to be and that I'm an idealistic fool, but I don't think I'm alone in those thoughts. I also try to live my life treating others the way I myself wish to be treated, with respect and concideration. I may not agree with the lives that everyone else lead, but it is their right to lead those lives in peace. I'm also sure their are people who don't approve of my life for one reason or another, but should respect my right to live as I choose.

Unfortunately people are all judged based on one thing or another, color, nationality, religion, clothes, cars, sexuality, gender, age, income, friends, height, weight, disbilities, you name it, you'll be judged based on SOMETHING. If you want to build a better world though it has to start somewhere, so why not with us?

I definitely agree that corss dressers are the most evil entity alive in the universe.

Cross dressers are just confused people, but corss dressers should be incinerated on sight. I know that's what I do when I see one, hee hee.

Everytime someone flames a person for a misspelled word, I'm reminded of a little saying Vaanan...Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

It's suppress, at least I'm assuming you didn't mean surprise or were talking about a new frozen drink at 7-11.

Vaanan wrote:

Due, not do. You can't even hide behind spelling on this one, you were so far off the mark. Do and due are two completely different words, you might try grabbing a dictionary sometime and educating yourself a bit.

Vaanan wrote:

By the way, "Sir" Kerikdaven, I am puzzled as to why several posts earlier you had evidently like what I had said about inspection

This one gave me a chuckle I must admit. It made you sound like some country bumpkin trying to talk "uppity" as they say.

Try putting a 'd' after the like there, you'll sound so much more educated. And while you're at it, drop one or preferably both 'had' that you've put in. You might find that getting rid of redundancy is actually a good thing.

The bottom line is you, like all of us, are far from perfect when it comes to spelling and grammar. So when someone else makes a simple spelling mistake, look back on your own posts where people have let you slide and be a bit more understanding.

Last time i checked this was a RPG, well said Sir KerikDaven. Maybe you all should quit asking stupid questions and pay attention to this quote. I dont mean you should run the whole game RPing but use some of that gray matter you may call a brain. Sir KerikDaven I salute you.

I'm not exactly sure how you do guys got into your little flame-war there, so I will try to ignore it. Back on the subject of inspection, I personally do not mind anyone inspecting me unless they ask me how I got all my stuff (and the funny thing is, not one peice of my equipment cost me over 200pp with the exception of my weapons). I have come to the realization that there are quite a few people on my server (Stromm) that do not appreciate other players inspecting them. I will respect their wishes, and to be sure I don't get mixed up with the people that do mind me inspecting them and the people that don't mind, I JUST DON'T INSPECT ANYONE! THEN YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY! Honestly, I think Sony should add a feature to the anonymous command that prevents people from inspecting you. This alone would solve everyone's problems (on this topic, anyway) and there would be far less disputes between players that like to inspect others and the players that don't like to be inspected. Just my 2 cents.

Wow, most of my posts have been removed. I guess Yanari was not correct when she said that people have the right to post things here. Removing my posts kind of makes some other people's posts make no sense. For example Kerikdaven agreed with one of my posts on page one that is no longer there. And I don't believe I said anything offensive in that post. That post was regarding my impression of the inspection question and how I said it was a roleplaying thing with some of us in that we didn't like it.

I won't be making any more posts, here folks. I just don't like censorship. I haven't even been calling anybody names or using the f-word like a lot of the folks have.

I am really puzzled.

Verant had better make you able to turn off BEING INSPECTED then we would not have this discussion at all ;-)

Vaanan,

Check your filter settings. Chances are you have "default" filter settings. If you set to "never filter", you should see the posts. The filter is so you don't need to see posts that got rated down below certain ratings. This is most likely what happened.

I don't know where this post has gone and I'm not about to read 115 posts, but for some reason I really really find the subject heading annoying, and it just keeps popping back up at the top of the forum.

So I like totally think anyone who posts here anymore is straight up gay.

Well I normally ask before I inspect someone unless it was on a accident in a crowded area. My question is when I inspect someone all I get is pictures of there items and names of them. I don't see any stats or anything. Is that just on certain servers or is it like that threw out the whole game?
