Hi im a lvl 42 warrior in desperate need of money and a good weapon, all i have is 500 plat and 2 sucky swords, but i have a really nice bow that is worth about 3k (which i bought for 800 plat) and its wise for a warrior to have a bow but this bow is really good

i need a bow to pull but does it need to be good because right now all i use a bow for is pulling and thats it, so shoudl i just get some piece of **** bow?

if i sell this bow i can get the money from it and buy me a nice sword buts its a really nice bow which i got for cheap.

so should i keep the bow because of how nice and cheap it was and that i will be using it for bigger purposes later or just sell it and get the money to get a nice sword and get a crappy bow for which all i need it for is pulling and nothing more??

There's actually 2 reasons for a warrior to have a bow:
Pulling (which you will actually probably do less and less), and the stats on the bow (AC, HP, resists, etc.)

While it's feasible that you might at some time want to try to do damage from a distance, even with max archery skill and a great bow a warrior is never going to do significant damage.

IMO, if you can sell the bow for a decent price ane get decent melee weapons, preferably ones that will give you at least as much HP/str/ac as the bow does, go for it.

Look at the defenders lightblade. It's a nice weapon 22/38 and sells for pretty cheap. I bought one for 250 last night. I saw it for as low as 65pp, but when I decided to buy it, that one was already gone. Grrrr.
