In MM LDoN last night with guildies....very good group and works well togethter. I was MT - bard was lulling / pulling so I was right behind him until all mobs but one in a room were mezzed.

So, I see the Bard blink out - like he's going LD. Then I get a 10 second lag and I think "hmm...maybe I'm going LD." When the cyber smoke clears, I see the party fighting a HUGE room full of mobs - 10 or more...lost count. When we finish killing them (no deaths) cleric asks me why I went so far ahead. Apparently, they saw me walk into the next room, and the next, and then lost track of me.

I told them what happened and that I never moved. I was not charmed or anything - looked like a glitch. Anyone ever seen anything like this? We had a good laugh about the "Kenedor Ghost," but none of us had ever seen it before.

My cleric had this happen in a Tak LDoN. I watched as one by one group members disappeared from the screen...then I almost went LD...when I got control back I was in the same spot I had been sitting except there were 5 mobs on our group and the tank was dead. We wiped. Immedietly the pally ripped into me calling me a newb blah blah blah...apparently I had run into the next room, pulled a train of 3...then ran past group into the opposite room pissed off 2 more, dragged them to group and finally went back to the same spot I had been before the lag spike and sat back down.

At the time i was on crappy dial up with crappy memory...I've had no such problem since I upgraded memory and moved to DSL, but a beastlord my main frequently runs with still has a habit of running around, gathering alot of mobs depositing them on my lap then saying, "WTF where'd you go...oh wait...about to LD....Oh ****....."

Memory and hardware are good, although I am still using a dial up. This was the first time its happened...hopefully it will be an ultra rare bug spawn. My guildies thought I had lost my friggin mind...bet it looked pretty funny to see me strolling off into the dungeon! It was even funnier to see their responses after the battle when I said "wow - what happened? who pulled all those mobs?"

When you're 2-boxing you can watch a lot of lag spike effects, like this one. You get a lag spike, and your toon continues to do whatever was the last command you sent, move, etc. Then after a certain small interval the AI takes over and the toon runs mindlessly runs around the zone. If it is a dungeon you're hosed. One of my toons went ld in LOIO and wound up embedded in the wall of the Sarnak castle, thoroughly pounded by Sarnaks (when my necro found him, it was only his foot sticking out, hehe). Another time one of my toons went LD in PoK and I chased it around with the other for several minutes while it followed the guard track, over and over and over. And yes, I have had a sitting toon go LD, then the AI makes him jump up and run around the area attracting all kinds of unpleasant attention.

After I went to broadband, all this went away.

But really, what's important is: it doesnt take 15 minutes to zone anymore....and that's what life is really about.

When I took the boat from FP to OOT another person got on the with me. When the boat started to move I turned around to look at her and she was just sitting and at the same time jumping like 50 feet up in the air. Very weird. Whats even worse when we zoned into OOT she was still doing it but then she just dissapeared was that due to lag? I had no idea what was going on.
